Dannivou: I've purchased two of these batteries; one for each of my small UPS units. I immediately replaced the one that failed, and then replaced the one in the second unit a few months later when it failed. The first replacement, used for my router and printer, lasted almost 33 months, as it just failed today after a power bump. The second one, used for my entertainment system, is still working normally at 30 months. For the price, I guess that's fine, but the originals lasted nearly twice that long. Over time, I may discover that the cost may not be much different than an OEM battery. If that's the case, it's just a matter of how often you're willing to replace them.

Aleph1: We have an APC BackUps RS1500 UPS; this battery is a pretty much a drop-in replacement for the 7AH version that comes with the APC UPS -- but provides extended on-battery life over the factory battery. Works great, but if you're buying it for an RS1500, note that YOU NEED TO BUY TWO OF THESE BATTERIES! That is, the RS1500 takes two of them. I haven't had the battery long enough to comment on battery life -- but the UPS on-battery time is definitely improved. I will purchase this battery again when it's time to replace it.

STG: What can you say about a SLA battery. It's a big, black plastic, heavy source of electrons. This battery is exactly as advertised. My 2 were fresh stock, nearly fully charged when I got them, and a real workhorse as a pair in an old Razor scooter. I had trouble figuring out what the suffix "F2" in the part number was until I discovered that it means the terminals are for female 1/4" spades not the slightly smaller .187" spades that come on the battery that does not have the "2" suffix, and more commonly found on alarm system backup batteries. To be clear, the terminals on the battery are 1/4" MALE terminals that are meant to mate with the bigger 1/4" FEMALE connectors, hence the "F2" designation. The bigger terminals made the hookup more reliable. Great product and fast shipping, all at an unbeatable price. I couldn't ask for more.

x9078ljk4+: I obtained two of these SLA batteries as a replacement for two SLA batteries that became heavily sulfated after fairly heavy usage for a inexpensive 250 watt electric motor assist bike kit that I obtained last year.They worked flawlessly for the days that I used them until I received a much more expensive but better Ping Lithium Ion battery DIY upgrade (those types of batteries are much better for electric bikes having much more storage density,better longevity,lighter weight and can be more deeply discharged).However even though I am not currently using them (the SLA batteries) for such they still are useful for charging my 3.6 Megawatt (2,000 Volts at 1,800 Amperes) for 1/2000th of a second pulsed power supply (it's for a 10 Joule output Class IV pulsed flashlamp pumped solid state laser system).

These would work well also for UPS systems or other electronic projects too and especially handy for small portable solar power systems.
They don't last very long in usage on electric bikes (lasted me about 7 months) and the number of times one can cycle (charge) them in this application is low until they sulfate however they do have the advantage of being...
