Hawaiian Da Kine: I used this to fix my aquarium light which was not starting. It was the exact same ballast so I just removed it and replaced it. Very easy to do and better and cheaper than buying a new light fixture.

Amazon Customer: Have couple of fish tanks, lights began to fail. Disassembled and diagnosed as bad ballast. Put part number in, matched the part and ordered replacements. Worked great, cheaper than replacing entire assembly. would recommend this product.

Amazon Customer: I order a new ballast for the bug light in my concession trailer. It took me less than ten minutes to install it and it works like a charm. It was either replace the ballast for less than $20 or purchase a new bug light which would be $150.00. So, I would say it was a no brainer! Then I ordered a second ballast and fixed another bug light for a friend of mine!
