Zerberbaby: I purchased these and used one on a small backpack purse I made for my grand daughter. I only used 1 of the double drawstring type. The spring is sturdy for sure, even I had issues holding it in place to get the cord threaded properly! Being clear seems to effect the type of plastic they use to make these however. They are more brittle and would not hold up well on a heavily used item or basis. One good drop of the item and a step or book dropping on it and it is a goner. Still a fair price for what you get. Just be aware that I would not recommend them for heavy duty items or use.

Katrina M.Katrina M.: These have worked perfect to make adjustable straps for face mask. Only issue is that a few of them were broken when delivered.

Tony R.: Great price at less than $0.09 a piece you can't go wrong. Needed to make my own bags with cord closures. Pricing for finished bags were $2-4 a piece and still to small and complaints of quality and smell, decided to make my own. Made 12 9"x6" bags with felt outside, satin inside, 550 paracord and and cord lock for less than $8. Love that they are clear, so I didn't have to worry about matching the bag colors. Still have over 100 pieces left, will need to make my bags or anything else that needs cord locks.

C. G. King: These don't appear to be the highest quality, but there are so many of each type if one breaks it can be replaced. So far none I've used have broken. I've used them most for elastic shoelaces I make from fine bungee cord. I like the stretch laces in my tennis shoes but found the spring fasteners in the kits frequently break and I'm not keen to buy a whole new kit to replace it, hence this purchase originally. Since I like these fasteners and find they last just fine, I hunted up bungee cord of the same size the shoelace sets use and now make my own. Way cheaper than buying the kits. There are other situations where I want to secure cords that use the other fasteners in this set. I was inclined to use other, less ideal solutions in the past but now, with so many stoppers, I use them freely. Very pleased with this set.

EnduringBrightness: Thus far, these are doing exactly what they were designed to do: hold onto cords.
I am happy with my purchase.
