Barb: I can’t live without my Litter Lockers! I don’t think they make the model I have so I’m grateful that these refills are available through Amazon. Although you have to buy these refills, they last a long time. Litter Locker is worth it.
If you haven’t tried this kind of a system for littler scooping, you’re missing out. It gets the odor out of the area, covered and contained immediately in a plastic bag. Otherwise I was throwing plastic grocery bags of litter scoopings in the trash every day.

Edward McTiernan: We have 3 cats and 3 litter boxes in separate areas of our home, and have one next to each. These things are great. I first got them for my wife 2 Christmases ago (she's the cat lover and generally does the scooping). She initially said she didn't need them. Now she can't do without them. Just scoop it in and go on your way. Probably saves us about 15 minutes per day That's almost 2 hours per week. We throw the bag out about once a week, and there's no smell as they keep odors enclosed (although we also attach air fresheners inside). Now if we can just find a way to keep the cats from kicking the litter out of the box and tracking it on their paws. :-) P.S. I care for cats and dogs as a part time job, and I recommend these to all my cat customers. They certainly make my p/t job easier and a lot more pleasant.

Sharon O. Wood: Using replaceable cartridges like this can be expensive but buying them in bulk like this saved us money. These cartridges are very easy to work with and to insert into the LitterLocker II. I've see other reviews that say that you can use cheaper "kitchen" bags and stuff them into the edges of one of these used cartridges but I really like the ease of how these work.
The process is so easy. Take a new cartridge, remove the plastic protective ring on the cartridge starting with the easily identifiable tab. Pull out a small amount of the edge of the bag all around. Open the LitterLocker II lid and the top part with the hole. You'll see the shelf that this cartridge sits on. Drop the cartridge bag edge facing down into the cartridge space and close the top and the lid.
Next, open the Litter Locker in the middle by the Spring Loaded Barrier and you'll see the bag edges right there. Take hold of the edges of the bag and gently pull down until you have enough of the material to make a bag that will fit to the bottom of the Litter Locker plus an bit more to make the knot. Tie a knot in the bottom of the bag and close it all up.
To save on bags I take one extra step....

Stephen Phillips: Great bargain on a great product. The poop locker is awesome... We have 3 indoor cats and pretty much love everything about them except the poop. Didn't know these existed and wished I did a long time ago. They make the messing chore bearable. Creates a nice log of poop that's tidy and never has a bag broken on us, although that might be kinda funny and sad at the same time. No smells leak from the lid. I would recommend to the company that the make the two halves secure together better so it can be picked up with a handle. I modified it so that was the case, but I'm a farmboy and can make anything. Not sure if everyone wants to do that. Highly recommend it just the same and will buy another if it every broke, which I can't see happening unless someone fell on it.
