C.dinicola: This product was amazing! We (6 adults and a big dog) used it everyday in OBX with 100+ degree temps. It definitely helped keep us cool. It doesn’t block all rays but a lot! It really held up to the high, coastal winds, too. So impressed. We had to watch a YouTube video for first set up due to the nonexistent directions. (Or we lost them?). After that…a breeze. We hope it lasts. The corners should be reinforced would be suggestion to company. We saw many variations on the beach….this is the best. It allowed us to stay on the beach all day.

Andrea B.: This canopy is lightweight and amazingly sturdy. It is easy to assemble if you have 2-3 people it I found it to be a challenge when I tried to do it myself. Actually I never have done it by myself yet as the 2 times I attempted to set it up solo, some other beachgoers always got up to help me get all 4 poles to stay upright.
I got it because it comes in a small, compact bag that I can easily carry along with my chair and beach bag. Sooo much less bulky than the regular canopies that we have.

Amazon Customer: We used this on a recent trip to Florida. The first time we set it up was a bit challenging but hopefully with practice we will be quicker. It was nice to have some shade to get under during a hot, July, Florida day on the beach.

Lillie's Mom: First the good stuff. It's super lightweight when you're carrying a bunch of stuff to the beach. It covers a large area for a family. It has 8 anchor points with sand screws included.

Now the issues. It doesn't stand up to brisk winds well. The screws will pull out of the sand and it will be on your head. It says it has an SPF of 50. I'm not sure about that.

Hints: Bury the sand filled corners in holes and then cover with more sand. Angle the bottoms of the poles against the wind and the pull of the fabric. Create right angles between the sandbags and support strings.

Tina jonesTina jones: As far as the material, it was great. The poles are aluminum and after 1 day use at the beach the poles bent. So im gonna have to figure out what i can use for legs. Kind of time consuming setting it up, filling all the bags with sand and setting it up, but once its up it gives ALOT of shade. Other than the poles i loved my tent.. And very light weight. Every one using the normal pop up lost their tent.. But mine was still standing, even with a bent pole..
