Lizzie: I bought this for my hair and body so I absolutely love that it has a coconut scent. That being said, it wouldn't necessarily work well for cooking everything, but would certainly be fine for some things. Like every other natural coconut oil this will solidify if it gets cool (below 77° F) and melt when it's warm. If it is solid all you have to do is set the bottom of the container in a few inches of warm water. (That anyone had a hard time figuring that out sort of boggles my mind.) Completely as expected. Nice big bottle for the price. Will buy again.

LJK: I’m not really interested in the person that said people know what you’re buying before you purchase it. I know exactly what I’m buying. But when you put firm coconut oil in a bottle and it is so hard, you can’t get it out. Sorry that’s not what people expect when they buy something in a portable container. If it had a lid on it that could screw off like a jar where I could scoop it out and use it that would be fine but this is not what it is, is a small opening and this solidifies in colder temperatures. Now my house is set to 76° and it has yet to unthaw or liquefy. It is useless and non-returnable. Total BS and a rip off and I don’t care what some might say about reading or knowing what you’re buying. When it says coconut oil, that’s what I expect to get! It’s pretty clear coconut oil!!!!! Ripoff!!

HEIDI L.: So price is good, everything is good accept the packaging. I purchased mainly for pulling and your suppose to do it every day. The product is very thick it does not come out of that tiny hole unless you melt it and melting it every day is just stupid and time consuming. So I melted it and transferred it to a jar They need to change the packaging.

Mash: Used this oil and it is pure coconut Oil, I've used coconut oil before in Sri Lanka. this is just like the same... Some people have mentioned in their reviews saying it was like frozen Inside, I must say that is how it is... In cold weather conditions it will freez inside the bottle. keep it in the sun and it will melt nicely. Highly Recommended A+++++

Mr. K. Collins: Arrived quickly and is great for what I use it for - sun tan oil !! Much cheaper than normal sun oils, but with a much nicer smell. Zero sun factor protection however. Not used it for cooking yet, but no reason why it can't be used for that too.
