Skylar: My turtle loves these, and they give the water a nice hue. They do mold, or come in moldy, but i have had no issues with using them for almost a year, as I boil them before adding them to the tank. Highly recommend.

Matthew: These leaves are a great value for the money, a lot of leaves for the price, but there are some caveats. You will need to boil these leaves before adding them to you tank. After adding these leaves to my tank, I noticed that Daphnia and Scuds were growing in my newly setup tank. While the presence of Daphnia is a great sign that my tank is cycled enough to add Shrimp and snail to my tank, having Daphnia and Scuds, means that they will be competing for similar resources. This may not be an issue for those who adding these leaves to tanks with fish, the growth of Daphnia and Scuds means that you will have cleaned water, plus adding live food growing in you tank. Just be aware that if Daphnia and Scuds can grow in your tank, there may be a chance that Planaria may have also come as well, I have not seen any signs yet, but I have been vigilant about looking for them

Wayne: This bulk product is perfect for my aquarium. Nice source of detritus and Ph reducer for my shrimp tank. The leaves are very clean with no dirt. Just a quick rinse and I drop it in my tank. With the number of leaves this comes with it lasts a long time.

Jason, Carlisle, ONT: I’m not using these for the normal use, I’m making tannic acid out of the leaves for ebonizing wood to be followed up with a vinegar & dissolved steel wool solution. The tonic acid produced by boiling the India leaves helps to stain wood dark black. Isn’t science great! I was happy to see how many you get in the bag, seems like a solid buy.

GregoryVI: These leaves are great for adding tannins to an aquarium. They help with the appearance of the aquarium and also provide health benefits for the fish. The leaves are very larger than I would prefer, so I just cut the leaves into shapes of smaller leaves. I'd give 4.5 starts if possible, only because the leaves are so big. Otherwise, they are great!
