C G PARNELL: I've been buying these natural loofahs for a few years. They're big and soft and do a great job of exfoliating and leaving the skin soft. My latest purchase replaced an order I had to return as 1 of the loofahs had a gash across the centre, which would have resulted in the loofah tearing in half very quickly. But there was no issue refunding and I then re-ordered. The new loofahs were perfect. Very happy.

Debbie M.: I love the size of this loofah it's larger than I expected. Puffs right up after running through hot water. However it's not as rough as others I've had in the past would have liked it a little bit more exfoliating but I haven't used it yet so I'm going to cut it up and use it in sections and maybe it will be different than it feels on the outside. Overall satisfied with what I received. The price was okay because if they're charging a lot more at other places for a small chunk of loofah, and they used to be relatively inexpensive. We'll see how it works and I would still like to find one that is rougher. And also not bleached.

Colours nice, fabric is soft to touch, synthetic ( I thought it’s gonna be cotton). I am keeping it as it won’t shrink at least.: The loofa is a good size, soft after was
Soaked in a hot water. Unfortunately my loofa came full of seeds- probably was harvested in a wrong time and nobody bothered to check what they were sending to customers. I freaked out when I noticed them after soaking it. I thought they are some sea creatures trapped and dead, then I realised those ones were seeds. I scooped maybe 20 but had to stop as I was destroying the loofa fibers . The core of the thing is still full of seeds but I hope they would come out when I start using it- hope I won’t scratch myself too badly.
Update:
I use it yesterday and practically all seeds fell out( a handful). The loofa itself is very good but for the seeds one star is taken away.

Nick: For 20 bucks or so this is an extremely expensive toy. I used to buy these in russia for 5usd with sews cloth on each (prevent the tear off) and with handle to hang it.

As for the quality - it is natural loofah. As any natural loofah in the world. (i use them since I was born - for 34 years). Size is the right one, the real true size.

But as I wash myself only with loofahs, had to get this one urgently by coming to the us. If you have an opportunity, order good loofahs from russia and southern countries. But if you do not want to wait and ok to overpay x4 times - then this is the best deal on AMZ.

Rain: First time trying natural loofah to substitute for plastic dish sponges since plastic sponges always end up shedding tiny pieces of plastic towards the end of their life. So far, it's been working fantastic for both dish purposes as well as in the shower. The loofah comes dehydrated. You can cut a piece off and then rehydrate it by adding water. I think one whole loofah is probably enough to cut into 10-14 pieces, depending on the sizes you want. For dishwashing, we find that we need to replace it every 1.5 months or so (similar to our sponge use) because it starts to deflate (?) in a sense. For showering, I do find it to be a little on the coarser end on but it gets a tiny bit softer over a couple uses (or maybe I got used to it). Overall, my roommates and I have all adjusted to using the natural loofah and I'm happy we no longer have to use plastic sponges.
