Kim: The package says there are 100 seeds. There were only 43. I would like to receive the remaining seeds.

You need to make sure when starting them you have warm soil I suggest a mat. First time Gardner learning some stuff. I was like they won’t sprout and I went off one weekend came home to everyone of them I started growing.
Transplant where they can climb they are huge and one vine is a lot I planted ten. The one thing to look for is the mildew, leaf miners or ants and their buddies.
I use organic spray rated by OMRI and they tend to respond very well.

vickie lane: I was so looking forward to growing these and having the sponges. How ever we never know what the future holds. As my luffas started to bloom and have baby sponges. However we moved so I gave the bed and the luffas to my neighbor. They are easy to grow and I have already ordered more seeds for my new garden!

Duane MerchantDuane Merchant: I typically do not write reviews but when I seen people had trouble with these seeds I had to. I only planted 50, half the package since I was worried about germination with some negative reviews. All of them came up. I started them in the house back in March, transplanted to my trellis around June the plants were big and strong. I ended up having so many I sold a bunch. I did nothing special just stuck the seeds in starter mix and that's it! As you can see per my pictures they are doing fantastic!! We live in TN and they love the hot weather just need lots of water :) We plan to expand the trellis for next season since they did so well and look really cool! Hope this helps do not hesitate to purchase theses seeds they grow! Update... the luffa trellis is so heavy now harvesting tons of quality seeds and sponges, still producing tons of new growth, using them to make nice shower scrubbers and more!
