Jon KJon K: It’s pretty strong thread,. Only draw back it seems to fray when trying to thread through the cross bead openings I have used this for. The brown one I also got doesn’t do this.

Ashlie: This is a small spool, about 4 inches long, and is expensive for the size, but the quality is superior to the plain hemp common in craft stores. I love working with this material.

jenny: 1st time purchasing that type of cord. feels dry (not oily like it thought it would so doesnt slide that good) compare to others on the market. thought it would be thicker but outside of that cord for crafting is a cord for crafting haha

Corrine B.Corrine B.: This cord was exactly what I needed. Something thicker than string or embroidery floss, that I could string up origami ravens. If you are wanting thicker cord for macrame or earrings, this may not be the one for you. It is slightly thicker than 6-ply embroidery floss.

E FryeE Frye: Super sturdy chord. Considering it is unwaxed hemp, it’s actually pretty soft not too pokey. I used it for my pendant I recently got from a local crystal shop. I’ll be using some beeswax to wax it in the future for my wire wrapped crystals. Can’t wait to see how I can use it in the future. I was suspicious of the sturdiness considering the price but it’s pretty dang sturdy!! Also a HUGE amount of cord for the price. I’d pay the same locally for 5 feet and this has FAR more than that on it! (Included is a picture of it with my pendent)

The Dawg Lady: I recently started making knot hemp necklaces, and other projects, for selling at our local Farm Market. This hemp is smooth and even, it is very easy to work with and feels like an already waxed roll of hemp. There is no rough feeling or frays of hemp sticking out.
There is half as much as the $5 rolls of generic hemp that are 400 ft, but the less expensive/more hemp route leaves you with thicker parts on the thread, and lots of frays, making uneven knots, and stringy projects. This spool may look small, but you will get plenty of project out of the roll, with a superior finished result.

DigiReviews: A few years ago I made my son a necklace using hemp thread. He loved it and worn it day and night until one day it broke. He's been asking me to make him one for a while now but I didn't want to buy the same hemp thread that I bought before because it wasn't that strong. I searched and found this one. I was worried about purchasing it from the internet because I wasn't sure if it would be better or worse than what I purchased before but I have to tell you that this thread is really strong and I have a feeling it will last much longer than the previous. The price is also amazing for the amount that you receive! I'll definitely buy more.
