TWigg: I've bought 40 of these so far and they have all been pretty good. I haven't had any that wouldn't reset or flat out didn't work. They're pretty good quality and do have the UL mark on them. I would give 5 stars but the screws to hold the faceplate they come with are just a little too long. They work, but by design they never fully tighten unless you giv'er a little extra love. I'd say these are worth the money for sure.

KFDB: These are affordable GFCI units. The drawback is their use in older applications. In older electrical work, it is key to make sure you put them first in line and that they are wired correctly. Failure to do so will result in lack of protection or a malfunctioning GFCI. Had one out of the batch fail outright. They are NOT waterproof or designed to be.

S.n.R: These work but there is no room to wrap wire around the screws. The screws break or pop out easily and you won't get them back in. You have to use the quick connect which is less reliable.

Gary from Nebraska: I bought these because we live in a house with good, however old, ungrounded wiring. I heard that GFCI or AFCI outlets, while not replacing the costly task of rewiring one's house, will add similar safety without the cost. I know the only way to know this for sure is for the house to burn down or someone to get an electric shock. Now that I have replaced all of the outlets that had three prong plugs that were not grounded I feel better about those disasters not happening.
