kkmama: UPDATE AUGUST 10, 2020: I recently received my fourth 3 lb bag (1st bag was 2 lbs) and am working my way thru it.
I commented to my husband how it seemed like some of the apricots had been picked before they were fully ripe.
He said - Remember, we're in the middle of a pandemic. Lots of people were on lockdown All around the world, making it hard to get workers to come pick fruit. Under These circumstances, you pick when you can or lose the crop.
As I eat them, most are ripe and sweet, some aren't quite as sweet. I eat them all anyway! They are still good!
And I'm glad to have them!

So people, if you get something - whatever it may be - that isn't quite what it usually is, but is still good - be happy you have it and leave a nice review!
Supporting growers this year will help ensure that their products will be here for us next year.
We live in a new world now. We must ALL learn to adjust as we find out what still works and what doesn't.

These are THE best dried apricots ever!!! And the price is excellent too! I ordered the 2# bag and am down to maybe the last few...

Sandy: These are large, moist and heavy with that moisture. I've always loved dried apricots, but the ones available at the grocery store are often dry, hard and flavorless. It was always frustrating to find one that was "just right" only to realize it was the only one of its kind in the bag or box. It's hard to believe, but every one I've eaten from this bag is "just right".
I gave these apricots five stars on each feature and will admit I didn't really do a cost-benefit on the "value for money"...these are so flavorful and luscious that I don't care whether a different seller might be cheaper. I'll also admit that I barely made a dent in the bag before ordering again so that I didn't have to ration my new supply.
Times are difficult for so many right now that it's hard to admit that a piece of dried fruit can be such a treat and do such a good job of improving my mood...but it is what it is. Enjoy!

Lwos: Ordered a 3 pound bag in Late December 20years 19. Expiration date shows June 23, 2020. Product exported from Malatya, Turkey. Package also states product processed on shared equipment with NUTS in the event you have an allergy. Package also states Sulfur Dioxide used for color retention.
The dried fruit is about the size of a half dollar. Moist but not overly so. Has a little "chew" to it and some are a little tougher than others. I eat a lot of dried apricots and what I'm finding is not all that unusual. I had been purchasing dried online from an online vendor who mainly deals in NUTS paying Nine to Ten bucks a pound and they were not jumbo's. Based on my experience, these are a good value. The flavor is there, the expiration date good and I'm very happy that I decided to give these a try. I'll be back ordering more soon.
