br4nd0nh347: I love the quality of this Glass Carafe. I am happy with it, and I have experienced some leaking until I did the what I mention at the bottom.
I think of this as more of a quality DIY kitchenware appliance.
The glass is thick and spout is stainless. My lid screws on fine, however if you have trouble try the counter clockwise turn trick. Turn the lid counter clockwise until it pops down, then turn it clockwise. Everything is made pretty cleanly (no weird overly engineered pieces)
You get stainless steel spout and lid, thick glass, and semi-stiff rubber washers.

I've used this for about 1 year, I clean it each time I use it, however I noticed mold growing on the rubber (like it always does), which started to affect taste. Mainly the inside part where the rubber meets the glass and metal, where you can't clean well.

So I noticed that this product is put together rather simply.

I unscrewed the spout off and removed all components. I was able to do this with my fingers alone, one hand inside and one hand outside. I took all pieces and washed them. You'll see this that glass carafe just has a hole drilled into it, be careful.

Im Sommer ist diesen Glas immer in mein Kühlschrank bereit und wird am Wochenende immer frisch gebrüht. Ich liebe es! Den Harn tropft nicht nach und die Dichtung hält sehr gut. Nur beim Waschen muss man gut damit aufpassen…den Glas nicht auf die Waschbeckenkante anzustoßen.

I used to LIVE on coffee but I have a heart murmur and too much caffeine is actually one of my migraine triggers so I've had to cut most caffeine sources out of my deit. I always loved the smooth taste of cold brew and loved how much longer it lasted before it got bitter but decaf or half caf cold brew isn't a thing in stores or coffee shops. So when I want myself a little coffee treat I allow myself a small one from the coffee shop here and there. With this I can use grounds of my choice and enjoy my coffee more often without the harsh effects of too much caffeine on a daily basis. It's easy to do, and after brewing I remove the filter and fill with more water for the perfect taste. No more $5 coffees!

ismael monte: Tanto si te gusta el café para hacer un cold brew como si te gusta el agua de sabores o si tienes una fiesta y quieres llenarlo de rebujito debes tenerlo. Está muy bien construido. Lo he metido varias veces en el lavavajillas y aguanta perfectamente. Lo tengo desde principio de verano y ni el grifo ni el filtro tienen ningún síntoma de óxido.

StealthGirl: This is exactly as stated. It is made of glass and stainless steel, except the lid which is two parts plastic. The valve is steel, not plastic.

The filter washes easily with just running water from the sink.

I used just normal grind coffee grounds that would be used in a typical coffee maker. No special grind, however it does recommend course grind. I'm simply stating that regular grind worked as well.

This product is also guaranteed for life, which seems unfair to the manufacturer as it is glass and would break if dropped.

Cge: Le produit est reçu dans un carton simple sans protection pour le transport. Cela n'a pas posé de problème, le produit était en bon état.
Nous sommes très agréablement surpris de la qualité de ce produit.
Le filtre est très fin et permet de faire infuser, autant du café moulu, que du thé, ou n'importe quel fruit, sans laisser de particule dans la boisson.
Le robinet et le couvercle sont légèrement moins qualitatif mais en bon état et fonctionnels.
Très contente de ce produit.
