Zinus Upholstered Metal Box Spring with Wood Slats - Comfort and Support for a Restful Sleep.

Craig: It came in a heavy box. Everything was individually wrapped in plastic. Came with all the hardware and a ratchet specifically for the cap screws and inchude SPARE PARTS! Two small cap screws and one long cap screw. I am 71 and I had no problem assembling the foundation. Had to, partially, take it back apart as, assembled, it would not turn the corner into teh bedroom. Slight delay.
I am glad I bought it. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a 4 inch foundation.

William Teasdale: I very rarely find a product that impresses me. I just needed a mattress board for under my mattress and this fit the bill. The best part is they provided a ratcheting allen wrench to assemble it with. That is what impressed me so much.

Peter: Bought this honestly just looking for an inexpensive low profile box spring for a floating bed we built, but was really surprised at the quality. It is this well built and structurally sound so I imagine I’ll have this for a long time based on the materials used. Final touch I thought was over the top, and yes I know this is ridiculous to mention, but the install kit comes with this cool little allen wrench ratchet to assemble the frame. How many times I’ve opened the same install kit with cheap wrenches and junk screwdrivers, it’s just what I know to expect and rightfully so for a one time use tool. So to see something like this that not only sped up the assembly process, but was such a cool little gadget that I threw it in the tool box and kept it.

Rose215: I bought this to go with the Zinus metal frame. It doesn’t sit securely for the best support because it slides due to all the metal that it’s made of. I had to strap the box spring to the frame to make it more sturdy. The wood slacks could be wider. Having a metal frame and metal box spring that slides all over the place is not good. The rails that go around it are thin although it’s covered making it aesthetically pleasing to look at but not functional if using with the metal frame by Zinus. Mine does not fit leveled. However, I think this box spring may fit more securely with the traditional iron bed frames.
