ZINUS Blackstone 12" Green Tea Airflow Memory Foam Mattress for Comfortable Sleep

Kindle Customer: I bought this exact mattress from Costco for our guest room. It was so comfortable that I decided to use it for my sons room. We liked it so much that we purchased another one from costco for the master bedroom. After finishing our basement we wanted to buy another one for the new bedroom. They no longer sold them at Costco but I was able to find the mattress on Amazon. I purchased it and I am so disappointed. It has been in the room for weeks and it still has not fully expanded. We looked online and read that the room needed to be warm so we placed space heaters in the room to help. This did nothing. So now we are stuck with a mattress that is bumpy and uneven. I don't understand how the seller can make such a difference in the quality.

Steve Hodges: We had bought this exact same bed from Costco a couple years ago. Loved it so much we bought this for a spare bedroom. However when the box arrived it looked like it had been sitting in a warehouse for years. The last bed we bought inflated in about 2 hours……after 10 days it has failed to fully expand. Called Amazon they fully refunded our money and I’m waiting on the replacement.

Now…looking for ways to get rid of the first mattress … since they didn’t want it back.

Taras: I saw that almost half of the reviews said that their mattresses never fully inflated, but I have this same mattress model bought from Costco about two years ago, love that one, it is not only very comfortable, but also very durable, so I thought I would take the risk and buy another one despite the bad reviews.

Well, no luck. The mattress stays lump, inflated only about halfway, and very unevenly. It is definitely unusable. I see the manufacturing date is May 2020, so I am not sure if after being compressed in the box for over a year caused the damage, or the mattresses were in a hot container and melted or got damaged by the heat otherwise -- but something is definitely wrong with the one I received.

Trying to return it now. I hope Amazon can also pick it up, because I can't use it, but it's also too big for a garbage bin. I wouldn't even know how to dispose of it.

hakyul byunhakyul byun: This is a great memory foam mattress. Honestly, I was a little skeptical at first because the price was so cheap compared to Tempur Pedic. But I wanted to give it a try because I couldn't sleep well on a regular spring mattress and I heard that memory foam mattresses might help. But Tempur Pedic was so expensive. So I ordered this and delivery was super fast as promised. The mattress was delivered in a small box so I could carry it by myself. They reduced the volume by tightly air sealing it. Once I opened it up, it took about 24 hours to get back to its original dimension. And it was a full mattress (about 12 inch thick), not just a topper (I somehow thought it would be a thin topper because of the price). After a couple of days of sleeping on it, I am really happy about this mattress. It is not too firm or not too cushiony, just right level of firmness. and It is just comfortable. My sleep quality got much better. I would highly recommend this mattress!

PugPapaPugPapa: I’ve always had trouble sleeping on the hard traditional mattress in Mom’s guest room. My pug dog also craves comfort and was up and down all night, too. Trying to find a comfy spot.

Before this layest trip, I ordered a Zinus to replace the hard, old mattress … and happy I did. Extremely comfortable. Two inches of memory foam softness and 10 inches of firm foam below, so we don’t sink down into oblivion.

Photos show the mattress the same day I got it. After about 12 hours of expansion. The corners did not expand well at first so I took Zinus’s advice and jumped around on it a bit. Helped a lot. I might go further and actually steam the corners with a clithing steamer (another Zinus trick) but, to be honest, the corners are just fine as they are. The bed looks…. And even better SLEEPS great.

Even the (snoring) pug approves!
