They do lint when you first get them. I haven't seen any black on my clothes but my hands were covered after unboxing and hanging them up. I was hesitant to put any white shirts on them at first but now I have and I still haven't seen any black hanger marks. Most importantly they keep my clothes from falling off the hangers. I haven't had any break. I mostly use these to hang tops, jackets, and pants. The only things you can't do is put a crewneck or turtleneck on these, I mean you can, but it will be a struggle.

These hangers are great, I’ve purchased these velvet hangers from several well known stores and always had issues with the durability of them. Not to mention I pay almost a dollar a hanger at other retail stores, and they don’t have the scarf:tie option. It’s been over a week and I haven’t broken one yet! They have been extremely durable, I’m actually about to order another 100! These are not only the best quality I’ve found , but you can’t beat the price! Not even at your discount stores, like Marshall’s, Burlington, Ross, or large companies like Wal-Mart or target(I would know I’ve purchased them from everywhere...lol)
Update: I’ve now ordered two packs and going to order a third to replace all the hangers in my house! Love these so much! Now I just chuckle when I see the 20 packs for $15-$20 bucks at the store! Can’t believe I once paid that!! Love these hope they never go away!
