K. Grago: These magnets have been perfect for hanging wreaths from our metal front door. Word of caution, though...they are very strong and, if your fingers are not in the proper position on the magnet when it starts to pull towards the door, you will end up with a nasty and painful red mark on your fingers!!!

Claire: I had to use both hangers to attach one decoration to the glass portion of a storm door. They easily hold up a tin metal 12x12x3 decorative bucket with flowers in it to the glass pane. No slippage after a week, including some very humid days. They would probably work independently for the same purpose if I had a metal door too. The written instructions to slide a credit card between them to separate them also applies when glass is between them. But I’d be wary of using a credit card in case the strong magnets mess with the information stored on the card. I’d suggest an expired card or other type of plastic piece instead. You probably need to keep these away from pacemakers too. These were ordered instead of a similar magnetic hook that was no longer available, and work just as well.
