Amazon Customer: I like the ease of the clasp and love the handle. But I don’t feel I have the security of the Velcro when my Australian shepherd/ border collie mix gets excited and wants to pull. I already have the buckle one from this brand for the dog park which we love, so I will be buying her the pink buckle one for the home which I know I can trust.

Alex Beyer: I love these types of collars. USUALLY went with Spanker Elite's but wanted more color for my two dogs. My one dog, Male Trapper Foxhound, gets orange. My female Dutch Shepherd gets purple. This not only offers more color options, but it also is great since it adds reflective threading. Spanker and OneTigres are just going for the hard core MILITARY look, which is great, they nail it, but this does that, but with a little flare.

I also love the Handles on these, and I have used them quite a bit with the Foxhound (since I've had him longer). Last year I did Cruise the Coast for the first time with my Foxhound, he was just PERFECT, my friend who is usually hyper critical of me and my training/behavioral work with my shelter pup was impressed. I let everyone who wants to pet my dog, there's never an aggression concern with either of them, but there is a jumping concern, hence the need for the collar handle. I can hold the collar, strangers can pet the dog. WIN WIN. Though after 4 years of owning him, not much of an issue. ZELDA the new girl, still technically a puppy, so still learning. This will be her first Cruise the Coast.

IN SUMMATION, YES I RECOMMEND THESE 100%....

TatTat: Got this cute pink collar for my Great Dane girl! I was looking for a tactical style collar because I really appreciate the handles that these collars have, just in case I need to hold my dogs really close to me. It was a plus that it came in pink for my girly girl! Love the velcro on the sides too; I got a "high maintenance" patch for her as a joke, but everyone laughs at it! The main downside with this is the buckle. It's supposed to be a quick-release design, but it gets stuck quite often. Luckily, we haven't gotten in a situation where I need to remove her collar super fast, but it can get annoying.

CMB_FurMomSCCMB_FurMomSC: FYI: Bubba was my foster fail rescue pup. His ears was damaged by a previous bad owner now serving jail time. He is loved very much by me and we live in SC with the hot sun. I had his scabbed ears healed and treating with a product I have seen work miracles to grow hair back on animals when normally vet says it isn’t possible. MTG oil. In the meantime I have to be careful while he’s outside because the heat he gets a sore just by going to potty and we have to start over. Silver honey heals then back on MTG for hair growth and it has already worked.

Bubba has about a 19 inch neck and my last one was a Large size in grey color but I had to adjust it to the furthest part to make it fit. This time I ordered from another company and seen the size chart and went for the XL so he’d have room to grow because he lost ten pounds after his (fur sister passed) and slowly gaining his weight back. He’s a 4 y/o blue nose Pittie and about 68# but normally runs about 75. I’m thinking in this brand the large might have been better since the large adjustable still allows for two extra inches. Although this fits and looks loose on the smallest size; I can’t slip it over his head....
