KiwiSL: This is a good study harness for my kitty. She is small and slight so I needed something that would security hold her in snuggly. It's soft but also a heavy-duty canvas type material but lightweight, perfect. She's only 7 lbs but walks around like she has nothing on. The design is cute too!

Claire Loughry: It fits my cat snuggly. It was easy to put on. My cat is OK with just the harness on, but when I put the leash on, he freaked out...HIS issue, NOT a problem with the harness or leash. It took him less than 1 minute to wriggle out of the harness. I think I'll rename him Houdini!

Cleo: It is everything we were looking for. We tried the over the head harness and kitty was not going to let us even try...but with this, it was soooo easy, it looks comfortable, she adjusted to it within seconds, loves wearing it to go outside and roll in the grass, and it's sooooo cute! It fit her a little big, but with the velcro it's easy to adjust to size...and no escape issues, make sure you put it on snug! Can't wait to purchase more...we looooove it...thank you!

Amazon Customer: From my perspective: Fits well. I bought the small and medium because he's about 8 pounds and either one fits, but the smaller one fits him best. Seems sturdy enough and it didn't break the bank, plus it's camo! Great for a beginner adventure kitty, right? He seemed to know it was for him when I pulled it from the box and rubbed it a little. Then I, with apparent malice aforethought and harboring secret dreams of destroying his autonomy placed it on him and velcroed him up. I put him on his feet and he splatted to the ground on his side. We were in for a test of wills.

He spent some time deciding if I meant him fatal harm and came to the incorrect conclusion that I did mean to kill and probably eat him, even though there was never any clue he felt that way until now. With his belly touching the ground he bolted about 10 feet and then it looked like he was wrestling an imaginary dragon, Mehmet I assume. It may be that the red dragon helped him get out of the harness, because get out he did, then moved under a car. Hilarity ensued. Finally caught and (omg) hissing at me he took a deep breath to make it more difficult to harness him, but I had learned the way of the horse many...

Anders BeerAnders Beer: This harness was the first one that my cat actually tolerated. When he wants to go out, he actually leads me over to it and paws at it. There is almost no resistance when putting it on, and he generally seems to behave as if he isn't wearing a restraint.

Previous harness I tried were those T or H style minimal harnesses, which appear to be less confining, but in fact made my cat behave as if he were in a straight jacket: He'd freeze up and lay on his side.

The one problem with this vest style harness, is that my cat can escape from it if he gets spooked. Don't judge the product too harshly for this though, it's probably impossible to make an escape proof cat harness that doesn't make your cat so confined they can't move.

A cats skin is pretty loose around their collar as it is, and with lots of soft silky fur, nothing is really going to completely prevent the reverse escape. This is just the way their anatomy is and the best thing you can do is just make sure you keep a close eye on your cat, and don't let them get too far from you.

I am really fortunate, as my cat does not seem to have the instinct to completely run away once he's out of the harness....

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: I had to order this product twice. I ordered a medium about a month ago, but that got lost in the mail and never came. I had to order a large in the meantime because I'm on a timed schedule of trying to get her harness trained. I left a review about that and said I would update it later if I was ever able to purchase another medium.

When the medium was finally put back in stock, I ordered one and it came pretty quickly. I’ve spent the past two days making her wear the large and the medium trying to see which one fits better. The first three pictures are of her wearing the medium, and the last two are her wearing a large. In all five of the pictures, the harness is adjusted to where it fits the best on her. (I’m not sure why she continues to stand like her spine is broken, but I’m hoping the snugness of the medium helps her adjust more and she changes this.)

My cat is 5 years old and pretty petite for her age. She weighs about 8.3 pounds with a chest girth of 13 and a neck girth of 7-8. It sucks that she is literally in between sizes because the medium fits when the Velcro is loosened and the large fits when the Velcro is really tight. If I adjust the Velcro...
