Ray: I think these are really cute and for my first pair of stompers I don't think it was a bad pick. Their really comfortable and they get the husband's mark of approval for being cute on me. I personally like them. That being said there were/are a few issues.
First they smelled horrible when I first took them out of the box. Like bad rubber smell. It went away after a couple of days but omg no.
Secondly the material while not horribly bad has absolutely no ankle support so I personally didn't feel like I was actually secured in the shoe. I personally fixed this by wearing thicker socks and tightening the straps as much as I could.
Lastly, I think when I bought these they were like 55$? (Idk if the price as fluctuated or not) And while I like these shoes I don't think they are necessary worth the 50/60$.
Do I regret buying them? No but I do think I could of invested in a better pair with better material/ankle support. I just got caught up with the bat buckles because I really like bats. If these shoes were to break I think I would rather invest in a pair of stompers made with better material though. For now these are good and didn't break the bank like some of the other...

Tisa: I fell in love as soon as I opened the box and saw how beautiful they were! My ankles are wider than average so I loosened the top strap, but it wasn't necessary. They fit perfectly! They're comfortable and stylish! I just can't get over how much I love these shoes!

Stevie SStevie S: I have the other version of these boots that are tall with spikes and love them! They have no issues and are almost two years old. I decided to buy the lower version with bat buckles and have had issues.
The first issue is the smell on these boots. I’ve had them for a while and they still stink. The smell is almost like burning tires mixed with roadkill and water or air dying doesn’t seem to get the odor out. The smell has gotten better the longer the boots sit in my closet but there is still an odor.
The next issue is that at the area after the buckles, the boot is really narrow. I have flat feet and they are wide so I went a size up (I’m a size 7 normally) but this size 8 fit more like a 6 1/2 or a small 7. It took a couple of wears before the boot “stretched” enough for my feet to be comfy.
I’ve bought other cheap platform boots from Amazon so I know it can be a hit or miss but considering I own the other version advertised, I figured there would be some consistency.
The positives is that these boots are cute especially with the added skulls that I put on and make good night club boots despite being too narrow at first.
TL;DR: these boots may arrive...
