Shopping Gal: I have used these gloves solidly for about 30 hours of raking, pulling vines (poison ivy too) and picking up yard debris. I have a medium hand size, and the dexterity in these is good enough to pick up some smaller sticks or thread poison ivy through itself as I coil it up after pulling it out of the ground (think poison ivy wreaths). I am a heavier gal with large forearms, and these fit comfortably and flush against my skin at the top of the glove. Nothing gets in there. The gloves do get sweaty after a bit of work, so make sure your hands are thoroughly clean before putting them on, and hang them to dry with a clothes pin holding the two together but on only one edge each. The glove opening should be fully open to the air for them to dry and air out properly. So, far, I have not gotten a rash from all the poison ivy I have been pulling. I feel like the oils will eventually penetrate the gloves if I don’t clean them though, so any tips about washing them would be greatly.appreciated. Otherwise, I will try wearing them and simply washing the hands in Dawn and then rinsing and air drying. These seem durable so far. They are comfortable apart from the dampness once you start...

Beachlvr: I bought these last year because every time I picked cucumbers, squash or zucchini my arms would break out. These are great because they cover the part of my arms that were breaking out.
I do have to admit that when it's hot, they make my hands and arms sweat but, I'll take that over the breakouts!
I used them last year and they are still in perfect condition. They are of good quality and material.
