Sue: Very good water flow and soft delivery as described. You do need to be virtually on top of the plants to water them however. Meaning there isn’t any real projection of the water, likely to keep the delivery soft enough. So if you have many garden beds or large areas to water like this, it may take you some time.

Literary Omnivore: I really love these plastic Dramm water nozzles. Yes, they are plastic and don't last forever but they will last several years. The best part is that plastic is inert, so they won't weld themselves to the end of your garden hose as certain metal ones can. These screw on easily and screw off just as easily. The shower of water is just gentle enough to water thoroughly without damaging your plants. This yellow color is one of my favorites, it's cheerful and easy to find in the garden if I've mislaid it. Really about as close to perfect as it gets.

Homebody: Lots of water volume (faucet opened all the way), but water is broken soft enough that my pansies still stand up while being watered. The original nozzle that the Dramm wand came with would just spray my flowers over or flatten them, and, if the water flow was slower, water would dribble out rather than spray. This one does not and I can moderate the water flow and still get a spray. Can screw it onto the Dramm wand or directly onto the end of the hose. One of the best garden purchases ever.

John Smith: Absolutely the best head Dramm makes for general garden or plant bed watering. Some of their other heads flow to slow, and some flow too fast - the "Lemonhead", as some people call it, is just right.

BB (Virginia: Fantastic problem solver! I have lots of plants, seedlings, vegetables & flowers to water. Dramm 30" wands have been a mainstay in my garden for 30+ years. It's dragging the heavy, dirty, hoses around that makes watering such a chore. I tried the Water Right PSH-050-EP-4PKRS Polyurethane Lead Safe Ultra-Light Slim Garden Hose, 50-Foot x 7/16-Inch which is truly a thing of quality and beauty. Even though the description clearly stated info about water pressure, I ignored it. I shouldn't have been surprised that it didn't work with my standard Dramm wand....just not enough water pressure to produce the wonderful shower effect. In desperation, I tried the Flex-Able Hose 50 Foot which is ridiculously light in the best possible way but also lacked enough pressure to use my Dramm wands. Determined to find a way, I ordered this Dramm "Lemon Head" breaker and Dramm 12349 170PL Plastic Water Breaker Nozzle. BOTH WORKED PERFECTLY WITH EITHER HOSE!!! The "Lemon Head" is great for larger areas; the Dramm 12349 is great for confined areas and hanging plants. Most Dramm wands come with shut-off valves built in. I am actually enjoying watering my garden now!

Bikedude: I stumbled upon Dramm for the first time at a Tractor Supply store in Rochester, NY. It was called the "Lemon Head." I bought it and used it at a community garden. It worked so well that somebody liked it more than me and took it home. I replaced it with an all-metal aluminum nozzle and it has stayed put. It works very well. I bought another Lemon Head and keep it hidden in a box so it doesn't walk away. The best thing about these Dramm nozzles is the softness of the spray. They deliver a ton of water but with low force so it doesn't flatten everything and kick soil up on your plants. The water coming out actually feels "soft." And they do have a black rubber ring on the outside to soften the impact if you drop it. But it is made of plastic so if it hits concrete, it can be cracked. That is the only drawback.
