Heavy-Duty Brass Adjustable Hose Nozzle by Dramm - Model 12380

Lorraine: I shouldn’t have waited so long (decades!) to buy one of these. I have an extensive garden and have used many different brass nozzles over the years. None compares to The Dramm. This nozzle somehow allows more water to be delivered in a way that does not beat down delicate plantings. It has greatly reduced the amount of time it takes me to irrigate. The product is worth the price.

However i have TWO TIPS

1) dramm doesn't advertise this as "strongest finest jet column available". it isn't. works good though.

((infact i have one that is: it's 6" long and plastic kinda conic tip. got it free they cost <$10 but are plastic and have valve not twist. only thing better i've seen is a pressure washer.))

TIP if you drop it hard on concrete it may stop turning like butter. unscrew all the way, remove any "chad" hanging on the the inner thread. it now turns like butter again

Bob: This is a brass nozzle with simple twist adjustment from mist to long distance spray. No head leaking, no clicking to find the correct spray, no trigger. This the case of the Old School design still being the best

Anne HaightAnne Haight: So far it has survived 11 months in a commercial car rental wash bay, being run over and smashed on the ground multiple times a day. It has outlasted any other hose nozzle we have tried, including so-called "heavy duty" nozzles.

It's simple, all brass, easy to clean/descale, and possibly indestructible.

sean p.: Europe & US have different thread types so much to my surprise, I had no problem finding a metal 3/4 thread to Hozelock-style-bayonet adapter to fit this for use here in the UK. Quality is superb as was value for money. I have no problem recommending this item.

jyj: i read that brass nozzles are the best quality cuz they dont have plastic components that might eventually break down and start leaking, which is true, this feels very heavy duty and solid, easy to install, however, the tiny flaw is with the design by nature. because of the lack of plastic, you cannot have a "memory mode", as in you cant choose a mode first, then turn it on, you have to go through all the modes every time. its like those bad flashlights that you click to turn on, and it goes low, med, high, turbo, strobe, off, you always have to start on low, and you always have to go through strobe before turning it off. in this case, you always have to start on a spray before you can get to jet.
