Xspec 20" Folding Compact City Commuter Bike with 7 Speeds

AWS: I wanted an inexpensive folding bike for my wife to ride for short commutes. She likes it. I am experience at working on bikes and had no problem putting this bike together. The breaks needed quite a bit of adjusting and I was able to fix the rubbing fenders. If you are not comfortable with basic bike mechanics you will likely have a hard time getting everything working smoothly. If that is the case, bring it into your local bike shop to get it “tuned up”.

morgan: I am generally pretty good at assembling things, but you have to have instructions to figure it out. The instructions they provided are awful. The only picture is of a different bike. They just describe what to do, but don’t show you. I also ended up with many extra parts which is concerning. The last step is to adjust the brakes. This took an eternity to do. They don’t provide the tools for this step. While I was adjusting the back brakes, the wire broke so that was disappointing.
I haven’t ridden the bike yet and honestly I’m a bit nervous about it, especially the brakes

Sen: Never put a bike together before. Watched videos it took a week. 1st one had a bad front brake installation which I had to study to fix. 2nd one was done in 3 hours at a leisurely pace.
Looks good. Rides well. Make sure to fill the tires!

William: Found the bike well packaged, and easily assembled. The handle bar post seems a little sub par in sturdiness. That said it's an easy rider, gearing is nice in second and 3rd on the flat. This bike is my coffee store, or brew pub runner. 1ml or 2 at max. All things said I got what I paid for. And pre bike to work assembly has come along way.
Did reset front and rear brake blocks. A little grafit grease here and there goes along way. Going to source a container of some sort for the back carrier for a few light shopping items.
And a flat kit, font rear light and a decent pump.

Emily Marie: I bought this bike in both black and white (my boyfriend and I wanted matching bikes) to ride around town. I live in Idaho where there are several inclines so i wanted something with multiple speeds. I'll admit i was wary about ordering an item that had less than 4 stars. (When looking for items on Amazon, I generally go to filters and hit both prime eligible and 4 stars+ to weed out any iffy items.) I

am so glad that I purchased this item! I haven't found any problems with either bike so far. When we received the bikes, they were in slightly varied states of assembly. After a few minutes of putting the bikes together, we realized that, although we knew what we were doing, the bikes would need to be tuned up by someone who REALLY knew what they were doing. BRING YOUR BIKE TO A PROFESSIONAL. They found all sorts of little things that we would not have noticed. Since these bikes are cheaper, they obviously aren't guaranteed great assembly in the warehouse. The only one truly negative thing the bike shop had to say was that the gear shifter was cheaply made so shifting could be a problem but that it wasn't a safely hazard.
