Kyler Christian: This did the trick sealing up some gaps in my truck camper. The Tacoma bed in particular has a lot of gaps for water/dust intrusion. I wadded this up in those gaps. After a nice heat spell the tape sort of self leveled itself also which made the finished appearance better than anticipated. Bonus, I sort of enjoy the smell.

Amazon Customer: I used this on my RV for a repair around a small window that does not open up. I took it to 2 glass companies that could not stop the leak. Well guess what, Butyl tape stopped the leak! So happy!

Brandon P.: Products was exactly as described and worked perfectly for replacing seals on pop up camper.
Word of advice though, be sure to specify a cool shaded delivery instruction. This package was left in direct sunlight on an 85 degree day and unfortunately half the roll melted together. Thankfully I was only replacing seals on small areas so this roll was salvageable. Lesson learned :)

Jeffrey Snyder: I never knew the name for it, only remembered cursing it every time I had to work inside a car door panel. But I mounted a roof rack on my Tacoma, and had to find a good way to waterproof the roof channels. This material was recommended, and this brand was highly rated in Amazon, so I chose it. It worked flawlessly. So simple to work with, and ends with a great water barrier. Goes on very flexible, but sets firmly. Now that I know what the hell it’s called, I’ll be using it regularly. Great stuff.
