Robert: The item is very nice except the stamped steel base is extremely sharp, since I have many tools I was able to grind all of those areas but if I could not I’d have had to return it and hope a replacement was better. If it was put on a finished floor in a house it likely would have damaged it. It’s a handy item to own. A metal file and a few minutes of your time can clean the bases up.

Mixdplate: Concrete floor in my laundry room is not level. Installers apparently don't take the time to make sure appliances are level and working before they leave. I only used one to lift my new washer enough to stick a 3/4 inch block of wood under the foot. Worked so effortlessly and fast. They were well worth it just for that but I'm sure I will find more uses for them eventually.
