I didn't not realize that the sections would not actually attach more securely. It is a bit frustrating, and I might see about using some double sided tape to help. I can't really open the drawers unless I'm using both hands. This might be a problem, it hasn't actually fallen yet, just moved enough to make me nervous. It is quite nice looking though- I did have to clean it, the wood was really dusty. The cloth drawers are sturdy and the fabric thick. All in all, it's a nice counter bookcase, just a bit flawed.

Loved how cute this was on my desk. Good drawer space and I like how it can be configured in different ways to fit your needs. Instructions weren't super clear on putting it together but I figured it out.

I gave this 5 stars because the quality stands out considering its price and category. The wood is solid, the finish is well done, the holes all line up, and assembly is straightforward. My purchase decision was driven mainly by the adjustability and layout, with the drawers a bonus. NOTE: look carefully at the photos. As much as I did, I was surprised when I put it together because: 1) the section with the small compartments/drawers is separate from the section with the single large compartment/drawer. The sections cannot stand individually, they support each other and there is no provision to physically connect them. (Looking at the photo showing them end-to-end, you can see the stack line half way up the center.) 2) The tall file/magazine rack section is a freestanding "L" shape. It is not fastened in any way to the other components. These are not issues for me. I would recommend it to a friend.

I honestly fell I. Love with this the second I put it together and put it on my desk. I would love to get more and use them through out the house, I really really love how you can put it together how ever you please qnd how it really helps organize and make everything not only more functional but so much more appealing to the eye. I think it is worth the money for the most part (but if you or someone you know can make it for cheaper at home I feel you could make it the same if not better). If I had the tools qnd space to build my own I would, but sense I can't im in love with it and may buy a few more.
