Farris: We bought these for our 3 kids... then bought them for the nieces and nephews... then bought them for the neighbor kids, so now if anyone in the 1 mile area turns on to the channel the kids use, they will be super amused. The battery life isn't stellar, but remembering to turn them off isn't a strength either. It is annoying that the price seems to fluctuate between excellent, reasonable, and ridiculous for these walkie talkies. $19.99-$34.99 in my experience so far. They are easy for the kids to use and have a bunch of features that we don't utilize (and actually make them more complex) but they work just great for what we do which is play outside in about 4 acres

Jenny C.: I got these walkie talkies for my 2 kids (9 & 6). They loved using them to play spies in the house. I like that it came with 3, looking forward to family hikes where a parent can have a walkie talkie too. These have great quality sound, not like kid walkie talkies where you can hardly make out the words. I used rechargeable batteries. The only down-side is they dont withstand drops too well. After about 2 weeks of use one would not turn on. The customer service response was quick and they gave me a partial refund. I would still buy these again as they are very reasonably priced.

DJ Cook: My grandson thought these were awesome. They seem to work well enough for the kids to play with, had decent audio quality. Battery life, I feel is more dependent on the type/quality of batteries rather than the walkie talkies. They had great fun with them. They appear sturdy enough as a couple of them were dropped(one down a set of stairs) and they continued to work well. This was just the first day of use. If anything goes south...I will amend this review.

Krystal Y.: These are AWESOME. I have 3 older girls (11,5 and 4) for whom I purchased these for and they loved it! It was fairly easy to set up and very easy to use. This was one Christmas purchase I was sooo happy I made. It was great because my oldest has a cell phone but the other two dont which makes them feel left out but with these it made them excited because it really was sort of like having a phone to them. As much as we all loved them I do however wish they were a little more durable because my 5 year old was running and dropped hers and now it doesn’t work so I have to buy another set. I was planing on doing so anyway so I can have my own to talk to them thru out the house and then have an extra backup for the just in case. Yes they are THAT good for me to want my own! LOL. They had fun for hours on end with these and they are worth every single penny. They are clear as day and even though I did not check the mile range I’m sure it works pretty far.
