B. Baker: Never needed a chainsaw... until recent hurricane knocked down a large cypress tree in my backyard. All the tree companies were booked and estimates for one tree removal were very high. So decided to take it on myself and bought this Worx chainsaw, since I already had other Worx yard tools and the batteries are compatible .

Easy to set up and use. Had no problem cutting through branches and trunk. The patented chain tightening system works really well. Just remember to point the chainsaw down and turn the knob and the belt tightens right up. Over 3 hours of use, chain only came off once and took only 5 minutes to get back on and tighten. A really nice little chainsaw!

Jeffrey: The foremost thing to keep in mind with this chainsaw is that it isn't meant for large jobs like cutting down larger trees. It is intended for things like saplings, smaller limbs, trimming, etc. It has two 20 watt batteries that charge fairly fast (within an hour or so). There is very little oil leakage during use and occurs mostly when the unit is turned sideways. They do suggest emptying the oil after each use, which is not too difficult.
I pour it back into the bottle with a funnel, as so far I haven't used it enough to get the oil dirty. I have yet to completely drain the batteries during use. Of course, the life depends on how much it is used during any given amount of time. I'd say it will last an hour, or so, with off and on usage.
It cuts well when used for the proper job. The chain will come off sometimes when cutting horizontally, and it binds, but it is pretty easy to put back on.
I am very pleased with the unit and would recommend it.

peter dp: This chain saw is well made and easy operate as are all WORX products. It has a solid precise feel and of course doesn't make much noise. I was debating between the10" blade or 12" blade. The 12" blade saw is around 10 lbs and the 10" blade is 6 lbs. Decided to go with the 12" blade.

The instructions are easy to read. The two batteries and charger is included. No oil is included with this saw. This is the third Worx product I have bought and will continue to purchase WORX going forward. This saw makes an excellent gift as does all the WORX lineup.
