BeagleMom: I feel like these have thicker material to protect my fingertips better long term. I've only used 1.5 weeks so far but I can tell the difference. My old gloves (old gloves had Showa Atlas Nitrile gloves in the title and were recommended by a gardening youtuber Laura from G.A.) are all useless now w/holes in the tip of thumb & index finger. I tend to weed & brush aside wood chips with my hands more than with actual metal tools. Now I'll keep my nails trimmed short and remember to use tools when needed, but w/these gloves I think I'll be MUCH better off, since I still do weed and dig w/my hands. W/these I got a large size when perhaps I could have squeezed into a medium but I appreciate a bit of room when taking on and off (you can check measurements I'm tall). If weeds have seeds that cling to any fabric then some may cling to the back of these gloves but there's only one weed that does that so it's OK. So I'm very happy w/these gloves & will keep ordering these as needed.

Kim: Gloves look and feel great. Does the trick. However does not work on touch screens so you have to remove them to use your phone etc
Not the end of the world but I was really hoping to use that feature

Heather Resatz: Love these gloves, very durable and great fit! I wouldn’t use them for roses or Himalayan blackberries but they do a good job protecting from usual garden and yard jobs. Warning though .. in the summer they are HOT to wear!!

Amazon Customer: The gloves are sturdy enough for me to pick up brush with tiny thorns. They are also very pliable for planting and have a good grip surface. They are slightly big for my hands, because the smallest size available was a medium.

coffee diva: I bought these to work in the dirt but their first use was moving dirt in a wheelbarrow. They fit beautifully (and also fit my hubby so there is definitely some stretch in them). they breathed and were also thick enough to feel like you had grip and protection. they don't seem like they will wear out very quickly. Trashed my old gloves right away!

Since I wrote the above, it's been several months of 'hard use' for these gloves and I am VERY impressed. They are easy to wash out, they are comfortable. You don't slip around or sweat in them. And because this item is a pair, I could use one while the other was drying. Have worn for moving rocks, brick, debris, and just about every other grading chore. Highly recommend.
