Alan: Plugged into a properly wired 240v 14-50 wall socket. Easy to use the only button to scroll through amperage to charge.
We have had this working almost daily since late February, 2023, and not a single fault. We did have a few frustrations with charging cycle not starting according to the scheduled charging times set up in the car (BZ4X) but those always turned out to be the cars fault, and were rectified with a recall/update to the firmware.
The only minor complaint I have is that the LED display stays always on. I would much prefer it to either be off when not charging, or time off in both charging and not charging states.
The plug and connecting cables are both generously long, and very flexible even in cold Wisconsin weather.
It remains a very good value. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Joe M. White: Worked great for two months and then stopped working. The only way to get a hold of the manufacturer is through email. After not hearing back from the manufacturer, I contacted Amazon and they offered to refund my account since it was less than 90 days old. However, they did charge a restocking fee. Update: The manufacturer did contact me later and apologized for the slow response and is looking into why they did not receive my email after I verified it was sent to the address listed on their literature that came with the charger. Since I had already purchased a replacement charger, they offered me a gift card to Amazon to make up for the restocking fee I was charged to return the charger. I'm happy to see that they worked to make things right.

BillFBillF: WORKERSBEE Level 2 Indoor/Outdoor Portable EVSE Electric Vehicle Charger Cable. Since VW no longer supplies a portable charger cable with the 2023 VW ID4’s. I have been researching the available products to determine which would serve me the best. I wanted a cable that would could be used with both a 240V/20A circuit and a 120V/15A circuit. This meant that the cable would need to be able to be switch selectable to operate at the very least as a 16A or 12A charger.
Researching all the models available online I finally settled on the WORKERSBEE Level 2 Indoor/Outdoor Portable EVSE Electric Vehicle Charger. My plan is to use this charger as the “emergency” or “travel” charger that I carry around in the car, and I plan to install a JuiceBox 32A charger in my garage for fast overnight charging when I am home. It’s a very well-constructed product, and using an LCD display it clearly displays what functionality is being performed, and a switch to select the desired charging current level.
To plug this charger cable into a 120V NEMA 5-15P outlet (i.e. standard home power outler) a short adapter cable is used. I used a PluGrand B09M869Y3P available here at Amazon...

This unit plugs into an outlet 240 V 4 wire that we had installed and charges at the full 32.3 Amps as verified by the electrician, and confirmed by my power monitor that we have set up in the house, EmporiaEnergy.
Ours connects to a 2022 Chevy bolt and I can see that it fully charges up until about 30 minutes from a full charge and then you can see a taper off on the power monitor.
The car recognizes the power device and charges just like if I go to the local public charging stations, but now with the convenience of Home charging, I pay a lot less per kilowatt so the home charger ends up being free in a quick amount of time.
I can’t see buying that really expensive wall unit and this one is even portable so you could take it with you if someone else has a 50 amp 240 V 4 wire plug in like the cookstove outlet or the RV park sites.
The advantage to this unit is you can select different charging rates so if you have a small 60 amp home electric service, you could charge this car at 16 A or less to keep from having troubles and blowing...
