Can’t say drying time is less….maybe a little. Towels are softer than when using fabric softener!

tahiri: Works great, perfect for when I do medium sized load. Makes clothes extra dry feeling and quicker. I added a very small amount of essential oil to them as well

Pyrran: I'd always used dryer sheets in the dryer and suffered through clogged screens and vents like everyone else who uses them. Then, I came across these little beauties! No more clogged vents and lint screens!
Makes the dryer way easier to clean! Kills the static! The only problem I have is my ability to lose the darned things! Usually I find them wrapped in the sheets and they roll away under the car or some other hard to find place. So far, I've only completely lost one of them but it's only a matter of time.
Has the company thought about making them as squares instead of balls? I don't think there would be a performance difference but it might keep them from escaping. Just a thought.

Wendy Thomson: So they are great quality and value for money, but i did a test with same towels same day same settings and there was no difference between towels with no balls, and towels with balls. None. Nice idea but doesn’t make a difference in static or softening or anything. At least for me.

Ren24: I am really happy with these. I bought them on the recommendation of a family member. I've had them 7 months now and I've used them for every single load of laundry I have done since my purchase. (I have two kids and I do a lot of laundry!) The wool balls are still in fantastic shape and have no lint stuck to them whatsoever. Yes there is static when you take your laundry out of the dryer, however it's not enough to complain about. Once my laundry is folded, the static is not an issue.
I have recommended these to other people, and I would definitely buy them again.

Ash: I can't believe I waited so long to get these. In my case, there was no difference in the end results with these vs. dryer sheets. No static, and it did dry quicker.
I think it's important to note that dryers shouldn't be overloaded, and the clothes should be allowed to tumble, which is probably why clothes dry faster with these - they help with the tumbling. Also, they do reduce larger materials from wrapping around other materials, such as fitted sheets.
There is a slight tumbling sound, but it's a lot quieter than I anticipated. I compared it to the sound of say, a loose zipper or metal button scraping the dryer, and it's nowhere near as noisy as other sounds I've heard from other regular loads.
I like the eco-friendly factor and the reusability of the wool balls.
I've noticed there's less lint in the lint catcher. Whether that's a good or bad thing, I'm not sure.

alim: Have been happy with these dryer balls. I know they work because my dryer gives an estimated time of drying and I set it on a dampness sensor. So the estimated time is based on the clothes initial dampness. And always, the cycle is completed faster than it originally estimated and I attribute that to the Woolzies cutting down the dry time (as advertised).
Love that it's a chemical free solution to the static. And it's one less thing to have to buy (ie. dryer sheets) and one less thing to have to remember. When you've got kids, cutting down on things to remember to do is so crucial.
They also soft as nice soft balls that my son can play with when I take out the laundry and he finds them in the sheets!

MsDebz001: This is this first time that I have ever tried dryer balls and I used these balls for about fours loads already. I'm happy with them. I love the fact that I'm not adding extra chemicals to my clothes when I'm drying them. My clothes come out of the dryer soft, static free and seems less wrinkled. It's great that I'm creating less waste too :)
I really haven't noticed a reduction in drying time yet thou. That's why I gave it 4/5 stars. I use all six balls in the big dryers at the laundry mat.

JustaDumbBlondeJustaDumbBlonde: I waited a full year before writing this review, even though I was thoroughly impressed with Woolzies XL the very first week. These babies really do work! Will they improve your dryer's performance? ... YES. Will they totally eliminate *all* static in your laundry? ... NO, but dryer sheets won't either, and the sheets don't help the clothes get dry faster.
I dry approximately 10 loads a week. After a year of use, the Woolzies have a few pills and one even has a small chunk missing thanks to my dog who chases and retrieves balls much more efficiently than I. The Woolzies utilize escape tactics when you're removing laundry from the dryer, but they are well worth chasing across the floor between loads. Your skills of keeping them contained will improve once you learn their tactics. Although not a pretty as they once were, the Woolzies are still fully functional and look as though they will go another year. (see the photo I've uploaded of a new Woolzie next to my originals that are 18 months old). One reviewer mentioned that they will get in the corners of sheets, etc., which is true, but it does not stop them from tumbling around -- they just take the sheet with them. They...
