LL: After using wire brushes and wire scrub pad grill scraper for year, a wooden grill scraper was recommended. Tired of them falling apart. Picked this one because in addition to the scraper got a wooden tong and a silicone baster, which you can never have enough of. Plus, what's better than a lifetime guarantee on the scraper? I have a Weber grill. It may take a little work to get the scraper to conform to the grates but initially it seems to work well and I look forward to many more grilling days using it.

Liss S.: We’ve got an Oklahoma Joe’s Longhorn Combo grill, with cast iron grates in all three sections (propane/charcoal/offset smoker). We’ve used metal bristle brushes on our old grill, but I was never thrilled with how the bristles could come off with wear and tear, nor how the harsh metal could scratch the seasoned coating that is supposed to help the grates be a bit more nonstick.

I saw the Easy Function scraper mentioned on a few different BBQ websites and YouTube channels, so we gave it a shot.

If you’re used to a metal scraper, you’re going to need to adjust your methodology for this wooden scraper. Instead of going to town and scraping for all you’re worth, you need very hot grates and you need to take your time the first time you use the Easy Function. This will burn in the shape of the grooves of your particular grill. I can’t test it personally, but I get the impression that this scraper would work on stainless steel grates (Weber),

After the grooves are formed, you’ll want to remember to use it only on cooler grates in the future, to make sure you don’t keep burning more of the scraper than necessary.

Jared: Bought this as a Father’s Day gift and had it shipped to my dad. He got the scraper but the bonus tongs and brush were missing. Scraper works great and is easy to clean but it would have been nice to have those missing pieces included.

rjintoronto: Just got a new very expensive BBQ and I am very concerned with keeping it in best shape. This product was recommended by a friend and I am so glad I purchased. Cleans the grill really well with NO risk of metal shards from cheap metal brushes making their way into my food. Love the silicone brush and bamboo grippers that came with the product. Highly recommend and love that it is made of a safe material.

Elijah: I recently bought a new grill and I love it. But it needs a good clean for the grills and I refuse to use the metal bristle scrapers now due to reading up on how dangerous they are. I use to use one and it’s got it clean but I was always worried I’d miss a bristle and possible ingest one or worse my family would. I started looking at brushes and stumbled upon these guys. Once I read up on them I decided to order one and try it out. I love it and it works pretty good. I admit it doesn’t clean like a wired brush but at least I’m not worried about my family and I ingesting a metal wire while eating. It’s worry free and easy to use. Highly recommend!
