Maggie G.: It's a shame because I like this jacket in several ways - the color, the fit, the coziness of it. But it has one BIG drawback, and that's the zipper. It gets stuck all the time. And if this is the way it is right out of the box, imagine later on. I need a smooth zipper that will last, not a clunky one that frustrates the heck out of me and will probably break very soon. Sorry, but it's going back. It's not worth the almost $50 I paid for it.

BA: As the other reviews mentioned, the vest looks well made. I just received it so can't attest to anything else. I was looking for a synthetic vest for hiking to better withstand the moisture as opposed to a down vest which I already own so hope it works out. I do find it a bit heavy but not as puffy as down. I am 5'5", 126 lbs and got the Small which I found to be quite roomy. If you are top heavy, you may want to size up. Length is perfect. Love the colour which is more lilac than purple.

mariannemarianne: Upon 2nd inspection it does have some sewing issues pics aren't good but there's yellow thread stickin out in one spot. And theres also purple thread on other side in 3 places that also sticks out the purple thread isn't much bother since it blends but the yellow thread....who used yellow thread on a beautiful purple vest its not sapposed to have any yellow but it sticks out if I. Ut it it will probably compromise it so I will leave it it just sucks it was almost flawless.
