Took two of these hats on an African safari. They did a great job of sun protection for me and my daughter (age 10). Very easily adjustable in size. Light and well ventilated. Best of all, They fold flat and then in half so can easily fit into a small daypack. Within 5 minutes there’s no sign on the brim of where they were folded.

I bought this hat since I was going to be doing a lot of garden work. I loved the adjustable head size and the hole for a ponytail! I bought it for this reason since I always wear a ponytail or messy bun.😂 the brim covers all over the face and sides and the back flap is great for neck protection. I don’t have an issue with the brim flopping or covering my face and I’m considering getting this in a few more colors. I also used this for my young niece at the beach and it was very versatile with the size due to the adjustable chin strap and head strap. It covered her head and protected her back from the sun while making sun castles for hours! Easy to fold, easy to wash, definitely recommend this!

I have long hair and wear a ponytail. This hat has a small opening in the back to pull the ponytail through so the hat can be snug on my head. The string ties are also helpful when it’s really windy. I like the light taupe colour. Fabric feels like good quality. Front rim provides good protection against sun as well. Comfortable.

Lightweight, very airy and cool. The brim is wide enough to create a moving shady spot for you, while the flap covers neck + shoulders so well. The side mesh on the top of the hat allows sweat to dry from the air flow.
Just about the only con I have is that the brim is wide enough to catch air and lift the hat from your head ...so be sure to use the chin string to keep it snug.
Wonderful sun hat, I'm getting more for other family members who garden or work outside.

Hard brim front. Soft on the back. Which you can let down or clip up. Love that it is protecting the back of neck, so important.
Couldn't find a sunscreen that is non toxic for dogs and for the ocean so I looked for gears with upf 50+ to get a full coverage and eliminate the need for sunscreen.
Inside has a drifit material to wick sweat and protect the head. Outside on the sides are mesh for air circulation.. No worries about head being burnt through the mesh holes.
Colour is fine. Dark enough to withstand some dirt and light enough to reflect off the sun's heat.
I got a big head. About 58cm and this hat fits just nice, band at the maximum.

When summer came to Texas and I decided to start exercising outside a couple of months ago I could not survive without a good sun protection. I bought 5 hats from Amazon. I was pretty desperate LOL. This one is a hands down my best choice for walking/jogging hat. My other choices were:

a. It is made out of the very nice material. It is soft and light, good quality, looks not wrinkled.
