tandg: I needed this urgently in order to be able to continue my regular health-walks despite being unable to use suncream. It looks OK, although I bought it for function rather than looks. I have found that it does more or less what I need a sun-hat to do. The strap is useful to prevent it being dislodged by a breeze. I'd not purchased anything similar before, and I think if I were looking for another one I'd buy a hat with the largest brim available, for maximum protection. (This one's brim ranges from three and a half to four inches.)

Ana: Hat arrived quickly today. Have not had time to wear it outside yet but first impression is very good. It looks sturdy made and pretty. It will keep my face and neck in a shade. I will actually buy one right now for my daughter. 👍

The wide brim provides good coverage.

*Breathable material , 100% cotton.

- The wide brim in front has an inner layer of cardboard-like material to hold its shape. I do not know if the hat will still retain its shape after a wash.

Jessica: I dislike wearing hats but this is so pretty and flattering and can really feel the UV protection working.
Comfortable - other hats have given me an allergic rash across my forehead but not this one. Really is full marks all round from me.

CLL: I thought the material would be thicker but it's a nice light weight and will do the job. It's washable and I am going to use it when I cut grass. It was exactly as described. I think it's a good purchase. It arrived earlier than expected.

pamgoug: Ordered the Comhats Womens Summer Flap Cover Cap in a size large for a trip to Hawaii. The hat is a little dorky looking, and the size runs small for a large, but the light weight made is seem more portable than the other two "packable" hats I ordered - a straw hat, and a x-wide brim canvas hat - both were size large & fit my head better ("one size fits all" are always too small for me).
The Comhat turned out to be a great hat for hiking, bike riding, kayaking etc - the brim width was just right for blocking the sun & rain, it dried quickly and I could smush it into my small backpack without having it lose its shape. Also, due to the tighter fit (not uncomfortable), the hat stayed on my head in high winds, or sometimes I used the adjustable chin strap included with the hat.

Dawn McDowell: Love the hat. Fits great, looks good. I folded it up in the back to show the lining and pinned the bow on there to hold it. The brim is wide enough to shield my entire face (most sun hats leave my face exposed below nose level). The only reason I took off a star is that, because the hat is reversible (I don't plan to reverse it) the strap is removable, and the attachments for the strap are very stiff plastic, extremely difficult to manipulate, very frustrating. I had to ask my husband to help me get the strap onto the hat, and when I wear it I can feel the plastic pieces rubbing on the side of my face. I like the hat so much I'm considering remodeling the strap somehow to get rid of the plastic attachments and just permanently stitch the strap ends onto the loops. Anyway, I'm very happy with the hat even though the strap is bugging me (and you will need the strap because the width of the brim turns this hat into a sail with any gust of wind, or even just breezy conditions).
