Very stretchy and should fit a variety of sizes. I'm 5'5 and goes down to my knees.

Lisa Lou: This was perfect. I am 5'5", 155 lbs and it was just above my knee, which worked out great for my french maid costume. Fit great around also. There was plenty of room for a larger person. Planning to use it again next weekend with a nurse's costume. I might need to shorten it a little for that costume (will shorten it at the top by the elastic). Would rather have it too long than too short!
I thought it was of good quality and not overly itchy. It has a shimmer to it, and a nice hemmed edge, which some people thought was satin ribbon (I have no idea why). When you hem shimmery fabric it might give the illusion of satin trim, but no where in the pictures or description does it claim that, so that's just a misunderstanding of how fabric turns out when you sew/hem a garment.
I would buy this again a million times. Great quality and value for the price. I can see wearing this with lots of different outfits over the years....think I'll be a 50's housewife next year!

Used to Write: This petticoat is a "one-size-fits-most" size, so it is big on me (a size 2-6 depending on manufacturer), but it works just fine. I just pinned it a bit at the waist so it fits better.
The petticoat is VERY sheer at the top, so it really couldn't be worn as an undergarment that will be seen in costume changes (if you want modesty, that is). This is probably more of an issue for actors/costumers who want this petticoat as part of a costume, but I just wanted to note that.
Like most petticoats, this petticoat will make you itch if you don't put a slip between it and your skin. That's typical of petticoats, though.
At 26" long, this petticoat will fit fantastically under most 50's-style dresses and skirts, and it does a great job making the skirts "pop" in a 50's-style way. You'll get a full skirt without a hoop-skirt style.

Sterling WestSterling West: This Petticoat could fit (big ol' me) but was purchased for my daughter (little ol 'skinny).
So the " one size fits all" attribute seems legit.
Both of us are on the extremely short end of the 5 foot tall range and it hits right below the knee as it should.
The fabric is a thin, shimmery, synthetic material that is NOT the stiff itchy kind,
but IS rather flimsy, so it might be easily torn if snagged on something, but for the price that its sold at,
I think the value is certainly there
It is much softer still, after a good hand washing and drying
to get the "china factory funk" off off the garment. I ran It in my washers' hand wash cycle because real handwashing, well,
"aint no body got time fo that!"
and it held up well. I wouldnt dry it in the dryer though. Hanging it up only takes a few minutes, because its so gossamer.
*NOTE* THIS WAS A BIT DIFFERENT THAN THE VENDOR IMAGE
This is why I gave this 4 stars and not a whole 5:
In the vendor image, you can clearly see a white solid satin ribbon like trim on the edge,
IN REALITY YOU GET:
The edge of the gossamer skirt fabric is merely rolled and sewn down, its much less...

B. M g: I was a bit worried about the fit. Slid it on, thinking it may be too tight and I might need to replace the elastic with a drawstring.
No, it fits fine on my size 16w-18W waist and big hips.
The elastic isn't very wide and is not tacked down inside the casing. I have the shorter length by the same company, same elastic and it tends to roll and twist. I suspect this will do the same. My choice is to put in the drawstring or a simple stitch in a few places to tack the elastic onto the casing.
I am 5'2", this petticoat is below knee length on me - perfect for my planned use.
It would also look cute peeking out on a shorter skirt.
I do worry about the material feeling scratchy on bare legs, I have sensitive skin, likely would be okay for most people.
Overall, good purchase. It's hard to find an affordable petticoat that fits plus size. Excited for spring to wear my 50-60's styled skirts and dresses, they will be nicely filled out with the petticoat. I'm ready to twirl!

Simone: The product itself seems fine for the one time use I’m intending to use it for. However, it came in the wrong color. I ordered black in and came in hot pink. I do not think I have time to send it back before the event either. I’ll have to work with it. Kinda annoying.
