Women's Sequin Chiffon Costume Skirt

Shannon: It says size 2-12 on it but I am a size 12 and it was uncomfortably tight. It is a narrow waistband and so it digs into my stomach. I was so sad to return it because it's so pretty!! If you're a size 8 or smaller I think it would fit very well, it was just too tight on me.

Fran: The skirt cut is similar with gold trim. However, the skirt is a solid neon orange color, and the waist size is small no matter what size you order.

E. Thompson: This looks great and it covers well enough to not need anything under it. It moves nicely and has a good amount of fullness. The sequins are pretty. They are flat, gold, and slightly holographic which gives them some sparkle. The skirt is constructed well, with the sequins firmly attached and neat hemming on all of the panels. As far as sizing, I wear a size 6-8 and the waist is pretty snug. I'm not sure how well it would fit the larger end of the advertised size range.

LaurenLauren: This skirt is fantastic! I've been wearing it nonstop since I got it. It brings vibrant color (I have the yellow) and a hint of sparkle, and those long panels edged in holo sequins really highlight every movement. The skirt has a built-in chiffon mini, which I may remove since I usually wear it layered over another skirt. Without an underskirt, it would show a lot of leg, but I think that would be a great look (especially for shaabi). I have a pair of gold metallic dance shorts that I would probably layer under it if I wear it without an underskirt.

I've gotten so many compliments on this, it's hard to believe I paid so little for it. The one downside is that it hold wrinkles, so it needs to be hung and transported carefully. I've dampened it and thrown it into a very gentle drying with a towel to remove wrinkles once, but of course you have to be careful not to damage the sequins if you do that.
