Emily: I got this when i went skiing because my cheapskate self didn't want to pay for skiing trousers, so under this, i wear a thermal onesie that i actually bought for diving in the cold waters (under my dry suit). So these trousers were brilliantly waterproof, i fell so many times on the snow, we sat on the snow and rolled falling on the snow, it was just brilliant, did what it was supposed to do, now i can use it to walk the dogs in the rain. Useful multi-purpose trousers. Fit I thought would be too big for me (UK6), and while it is, the waist is great under my thermal onesie, so it doesn't fall off. It is on the longer side for my short legs 5ft2. but I still like it.

Amazon Customer: I'm a size 4-6 and the size 6 fits really comfortably over my camping cargo pants. I wore them on a rainy canoe camping trip and they're pretty water resistant. Only thing is they have holes on the side which i assume are there so u can access your pants pockets. I thought it would be an issue but my rain jacket was long enough to cover them and it was fine!

Also love that they come in a compact little dry sac! I have them in my rainjacket pocket so i can whip em out anytime! Super useful when biking around with unpredictable weather.

Gunnaluv: I ordered a few different styles and kinds of waterproof pants. That one only met my expectation. They are waterproof 100%, lightweight, washable, and very compact. if you are looking for only rain and water protection, they are the ones! They are tight in the waste and large in tights. Keep in in mind. They are running large.. I usually buy size 6 or 8. But that pant only size 2 and 4 were perfect on me.I like to buy 2 different sizes in case I have to ware more or less underneath. Great pants!

Nachtschattenschnepfe: Passt wie angegeben. Da ich die Hose zum Radfahren nutzte und ein ausgeprägtes Gesäß + Hüften habe sind die Ausschnitte für die Hosentasche sehr praktisch, weil sie hier auch für mehr Bewegungsfreiheit sorgen.
Ich kann nicht so ganz nachvollziehen wie das Wasser in diese Ausschnitte fließen bzw. regnen soll, wie hier schon bemängelt wurde, es sei denn man trägt keine Regenjacke.
Sie hat mich bisher trocken gehalten und da ich Regenhosen nur bei richtigem Regen trage, fürs nieseln nehm ich den Poncho, will das was heißen. Klar sollte sein, dass man aber von innen nass wird (schwitzen).
Da ich 1,78 m groß bin, ist die Länge klasse, aber für kleinere zu lang. Kürzen kann man Hosen aber, aber nicht verlängern.
Noch ein Wort zum Verkäufer. Hermes war 3x nicht in der Lage an meinem Arbeitsplatz zuzustellen (weil man keine Schilder lesen kann?). Der Verkäufer hat auf Nachfrage eine erneute Zustellung veranlasst. Vielen Dank hierfür!

NapaGirl: These are not cute, form fitting running pants. They are loose and baggy with an elastic waist meant to wear over jeans or pants in rainy weather. They are very light weight and perfect for our trip planned for Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Some have commented about the opening in each side. This is not a pocket, but is made to reach inside jeans pockets. I will put velcro on the openings to keep them closed. There is velcro at the bottom of each leg, but it is not placed so that I can make the legs tight. Overall, these are perfect for rainy, cold weather during travel.

JanaJana: I live in the Pacific Northwest and bought these for wearing at the park with my son during the rainy months and also to wear during light hiking in rainy months. I spent 1.5 hours outside in steady rain with these and they did really well. They were comfortable and kept rain out. A teeny amount of moisture leaked through but not enough to be bothersome. They do have slits in them so you can reach pockets in your pants underneath. I actually found this to be helpful because I use my pockets. My advice is to wear a jacket that’s long enough to cover the pockets so rain doesn’t get in (see my picture). As for size, I am 5ft 3in and 140lbs and bought a size 4. I have very wide hips and could just barely get the pants over them but they fit well everywhere else. This is a common problem for me because of my wide hips so it’s not a deal breaker for me. I got this same brand for my son and husband. My son has had his longer and they’ve been great for outdoor play in rain.

Summary: these pants are good for light to moderate rainfall. They may not hold up in very heavy rain. Overall quality matches price.

Martine: 1. Rolls into compact size and fits tiny bag. Very handy for purse or bike storage bag.
2. This is an OVERPANT. It fits over your regular pants. So it is oversized. So you order your usual size and it comes bigger by 1-2 sizes since it is supposed to fit you over your normal pants. Too many people complain about sizing. The sizing is perfect. If it were tight, it would rip.
3. This tends to be a bit long so you may want to roll up a bit. They are also baggy at the ankle for bicycling. So use a band to keep them tight so they don't catch on bike chain. Bottoms have some velcro closures and can easily be rolled up if needed.
4. There are no pockets, only slots to reach your actual pant pockets underneath. Do not complain. This is normal. If you had pockets, you would not be able to access your pant pockets.
5. Material is like a medium thickness nylon jacket type. It looks easy to wash, easy to dry, and is waterproof. it is very flexible.
6. Waist is all elastic. Easy to slip on and off and is very comfortable for those with a big tummy.
7. Ideal for bicyclists who are commuting 1-5 miles and want something over their regular...

Gwen Golub: As a prime order it took a really long time to receive. Like more than a week and no communication from the seller. I just got them today.
I’m impressed with the compact packing size and lightweight construction. Hoping they will be durable enough. The price is also reasonable.
I just tried them on and they are much bigger than expected and balloon around the middle. I guess that will be ok over my regular pants when I travel to Iceland next month, though not flattering at all.
I also don’t understand the long side slits for pants pocket access ??? There’s no zipper, Velcro, nor snaps to close them. Just open slits. And quite long ones at that! Without a jacket covering them, they won’t keep water out. It’s not mentioned in the product description. Is this a manufacturing error?
