cynthia bongiovanni: Durable and comfortable material. Very well made. The back is a bit lower so it doesn't cut into your calf. Very easy to slip on and off with no hands. Holds up against the mud and rain. Easy to rinse off. One inside boot liner slides up sometimes, minor irritation. Guess I could glue it down if it bothers me that much, but it doesn't. I just push it forward with my foot. Also very nice looking for a utility boot.

sj: So wanted to award 5* but slid on mud because the tread on these boots are not man enough to handle which is a shame. They are warm and light weight and I use them daily to walk the dog in these winter months.

kathleen: So easy to slip on and off. The lining is soft and comfortable and is sewn in so it doesn't pull out with your foot. My feet stay warm and dry. I use them to take dogs out and for all my yard work. Seems to work great in the rain and they don't slip around on the wet leaves. Normally take 9 1/2 and purchased the 10 which is big but still comfortable and stays on without slipping around. Great little boot.

Brett Shine: My wife said there was no way she was paying the premium price for these Muckster II Mid-Calf Boots just to get them covered in mud. So, I got them for her and.....two weeks later and everyday use, she wants a second pair.

They don't sell in half sizes so I paid close attention to the size up or size down debate. It is well reported that they run a touch large and my wife noted that her 10s were a touch loose. The trade-off is that my wife can slip the boots off by using the other foot and not having to bend down or sit down to pry them off. That's an energy saver and makes the boots convenient to slip on and off for even a trip out to the mailbox.

She mowed our soggy yard the other day and said her feet did not hurt after extended wear. Her feet stay dry and warm in the mud at the barn and she gets great traction out in the slop. The boots are stylish and easily accommodate her thick calves. The insulation is cozy, just hoping when we get to summer these boots aren't too warm.

Lots more than a pretty logo and a nice design. Would recommend to anyone.

my_dog_goes_backacking: Lovely boots, wanted something to keep my feet dry when dog walking.
However, for the price the fit is way off! I am normally a 5, which I tried and were far too big. So, I sized down to a 4, which almost fit right but the heels are too loose and keep slipping up and down when walking. I have tried thick socks, but still slipping. I put up with it, because they are fab otherwise at keeping feet warm and dry.

Ok, I’ve been wearing these for a month now, say twice a week doing 2-3 miles each time and I have to say the grip is pathetic on mud. I am a dog walker and literally cannot stay on my feet when we hit the mud. Plus the (non existent) grip on the heels has already worn right down. Apart from that they are lovely at keeping your feet dry and warm, but at the expense of probably falling over in mud especially if you have a dog pulling on your lead. I would not buy this boot again. My husband wears a grubs boot and he has much better grip, so I will look at those next time.
