Lacey T.Lacey T.: I have been searching for a pair of this style boots for a very long time. I’m glad I found these. This is the first pair I’ve found in the last year that have actually come in my size (UK size 10/US Size 12. Being male makes this kind of boot hunting a pain) I got them quicker than expected and they were definitely worth the money and the wait. I will admit it is a little rough around the edges. A couple of loose threads. But do not let this turn you away. They’re a great buy and far better than all of the other boots of this style on the market. Worth every penny!

Sonia Jagpal: I wasn’t impressed with how I received the boots they were crammed into a small shoe box.. the fit was ok.. my second issue was that the boots have 20 holes but my left boot on the left side only had 19... I do love the design but I thought the fabric would be better quality for what I paid.

Binks: First let me say that these boots, if nothing else, are cool. They are also Heavy. Like physical weights on your feet heavy.
That being said, they are in fact phenomenal. They also fit wide calves just fine. And YES, they will lace All the way up with the cool color laces, not only the slightly longer white ones.
If you have Wide Calves, don't laces these traditionally, use a lacing method that will 1) save yardage as you go, and 2) assist in the tightening of the boots.
Also, the shoe area is a bit deep in these boots, so much so that I actually had room to put full insoles in these by just going up 1 (maybe 1/2) size. The inside of these are built kinda like off brand keds.. Squishy and comfy at first but No support.
So. In conclusion ... If you love them, yes, I recommend them. I also recommend you wear an arch support of sorts in them. And if you wear orthotics, I personally recommend you go up 1/2-1 size based on my experience.
Would I buy the again? Meeeeh....??? Probably not... I mean there's nothing wrong ... they're just so Dang Heavy! And they take a Fair bit of work to get on... I just... I don't have that kind of energy to expend on...

Mo Poppins: I have a WIDE foot (not chubby, just a prominent bone), and I wanted to make sure this shoe would fit me before I committed to buying it, so I asked the community. I love this feature on Amazon, because it's such an efficient and easy-to-find way to address the FAQs of potential customers. Several people got back to me, and after feeling assured by other wide-footed buyers that this sneaker boot would most likely fit me, I ordered FOUR of these (in different colors and patterns). They're keepers! <3
:: ABOUT SIZING :: -- They do, in fact, run small, so order a whole size up (I'm a size 8, and ordered size 9). You could also try just a half-size up, and that might work just as well. There's a little wiggle room in the toes, but not so much that there'll be excess shifting of the foot (which could result in blisters).
:: SHOELACE LENGTH :: -- I remember reading some reviews where people say that the colored laces are too short. They're almost 2 feet shorter than the white ones, but whether they're too short for the boot depends on the thickness of your calves. Some customers were recommending that the laces go into only every other hole to make sure there was enough...

A F: These were a gift. I have also purchased Converse and other brands of the same style X-Hi shoe for the same person. (One was another cheaper brand sold here on Amazon) She says some of the cheaper brands are uncomfortable, but she liked this one a lot. Some of the off-brands have very stiff canvas, apparently. No bend or give. These are softer, but still seem sturdy.
These were much cheaper than the Converse in the same style, and while I'm uncertain how long they will last, the Converse didn't last long themselves, and she says these are just as comfortable. (I was actually surprised at how quickly the Converse fell apart. Back in the day you could wear those things for a long time!)
Word of warning, these are NOT for people with larger calves, unfortunately. There's really no give in that area. If your calves are only slightly too large, you can try lacing them every other hole, but you're going to get a little buckling effect with the cloth. Some people don't seem to mind it, but I think it would bug me. If you simply must have this style of shoe and have larger calves, it may be an option at least though.
Note: I marked the width as being somewhat narrow,...
