Amazon Customer: I normally wear an 18W or 1X in sweaters and shirts. Based on the sizing suggestions I ordered the camel color in XL. I machine washed it in cold water on gentle along with some other sweaters. Due to the cotton content I put it in the dryer along with the other sweaters (acrylic) on medium for about 5 minutes, took it out and laid it flat on top of the dryer while the other sweaters dried. When completely dried I tried it on and it fits exactly as before washing, just as pictured. Appears to be well made and I love the camel color, will go great with so many things, especially khaki. Can’t go wrong with this sweater for this price.

Jen D: This is the cardigan to throw over any outfit. I get chilly all the time and this is always fitting. 105lbs size 2 I got an xs and it fits perfectly. 5'1 and it hits a few inches above mid thigh. The cut out sides gives it a look. A little overpriced but for as much as it's worn, it's worth it.

S Jennings: True to photo, comfortable to wear, washes easily. Only negative is it does crease but these drop out out again after washing.

I am aware that the fiber content of this cardigan contains 55% cotton, which helps my skin to breathe. My hubby put the cardigan in the washer on cold water, delicate cycle. Then he put it in the dryer on low heat. The dryer caused significant shrinkage even on low heat. If the yarn isn’t prepared properly by pre-shrinking before constructing the garment, you can count on some shrinkage even if you hang it up to dry. However, if you hang it to dry, there will be less shrinkage. But if you use the dryer on any heat at all, you can count on excessive shrinkage. In the old days when I was young, American made clothing was prepared properly by pre-shrinking the yarn to reduce the amount of shrinkage in a new garment. Nowadays we have garments coming to the US from all over the world, and fairly priced garments (as opposed to designer garments, which most of us can’t afford) won’t be prepared in the manner I described.
