Rebecca: These days it's very hard to find the cozy sweatshirts of old. The move towards adding more & more poly to everything cotton is sad for many reasons. But in the world of tee shirts & sweats, too much poly is hot, sweaty, & darn miserable to wear. Yes, poly makes garments last longer but perhaps not always for the right reasons. At least this sweatshirt jacket is 50/50 blend rather than 60% or more poly and Hanes has some wonderful colors. NICE product but please enough with the poly in my favorite off-work clothes! ( Hm.mm, Wonder whatever did happen to that recipe with more cotton plus a smidge of poly to help control shrinkage? There was that poly craze in the stinky 70s then we went natural & organic but, oh never mind.)

CAD50: Nice hoodie, comfy and warm. I usually take an XL but I ordered it in 3XL because of all the reviews saying how small they were made.

Jeannette Clark: I bought this for my grand-daughter and it is a pretty color, a good size and fairly warm but I was disappointed with the finish around the neck. On all the other hoodies that I have bought, where the body of the garment meets the hood, there is some sort of tape or ribbon which covers the seam and gives it a good finish but this has just been stitched together and over-locked and left with hanging threads which makes it look cheap. Disappointing.

Barb: I just got it today and omg, I'm in love with it. I normally wear an XL in all my jackets/sweaters I have, so I decided to order the same seize despite someone saying that it runs small. Glad I did and didn't order the next size up because the XL Fits the same as my previous black and white sweater I got from a deparmtment store. Didn't fit too large or small, but instead just comfortable and right. Depending on if you want a tight or Baggy fit you can order up or down but I had no issues with ordering in the same size as I currently wear. When it comes to washing tho, I always wash but air dry my sweaters after. So if you wash AND dry your sweaters then I'd suggest getting a size up to compensate for the shrinkage that might happen. If you're still having a hard time deciding what size you can always order your current size along with a bigger or smaller size and return whichever one you don't like that way you don't have send in the hoodie and wait for another replacement. 5'10" plus size chick if that helps any.

DogMommyinSouthFL: I was away and the weather turned very cool so I wanted a cute sweatshirt just to hang around in. This fit the bill. I got it in the "Carolina blue" and the color is really pretty. I should NOT have listened to all of the reviews though because I got the large and it is big on me (I wear a 4/6 on top). I know these kinds of sweatshirts are meant to be a little big so it is cute but I could have worn the medium, no problem. For the price, this is great - comfortable, soft and the right length. Overall, I love the color and because I am a prime member, I received it right away and it is serving it's purpose. If you want it to fit just right, you can stick to your normal size, at least in my opinion. If you carry your weight in your stomach and feel you want extra room to allow for possible shrinkage, than go up just one size.

COProgressive: Quality isn't tremendous but I got one when the price for the color I wanted (Carolina blue) was low for the small size so I do feel I got my money's worth. Small is small, though so don't expect a "generous" cut. It is a fitted hoodie. I have noticed some pilling already under the arms from wearing this week, but have not yet washed it. It is possible the problem will be resolved with washing--or also possible that it will get worse. I will be very careful to wash in cold water and line dry, though, as it wouldn't take much shrinkage to render it unwearable. Not sure why Hanes can't use pre-shrunk cotton. It is interesting to see the prices fluctuate so dramatically for this hoodie--not only by color, but frequently for certain sizes within the color selection. Strange.
edited on 11/7/15 to say the quality is quite problematic. The pilling has continued especially in the underarm area and I agree with other reviewers that the zipper appears very fragile. I washed in cold on delicate cycle, reformed on a drying rack until only damp and then hung to dry. Despite this care, I suspect it has shrunk a bit. I do like the color and I got it for a low price, but Hanes, what is...

kylie martin: This sweatshirt is cozy but still very thin. I didn't love the overall fit, but it's not too bad if you're just running errands.
