Olivia: The internal fabric is nylon, so you won't sweat, but it could still keep you warm in the Winter. I was looking for a sun hat that wasn't too big but still protected my face enough. I like the shape and the string helps a lot. The only thing is, my head shape is kinda flat and very round, so it's both slightly big and small on me, so I use the string if I'm gonna be moving around. But, that's more of my head shape issue, and not necessarily the hat itself. I also found another way, you put the string inside the hat, and that helps keep it sturdily on my head, and it's not noticeable.

Twin of Eyegone: The Khaki color is several shades darker yellow/brown than pictured, but the style is super cute. The fabric is nice and thick, and the fringe around the brim adds a nice touch. Yes, the brim is large, but I like to fold them up, so it's perfect. The strap is detachable, which is nice. You can make your own if you want to. It just hooks into 2 small loops under the brim. Insofar as sizing goes, my head is 22.5 inches in circumference and this hat fits rather snugly. On me it fits perfectly, but unfortunately it's not going to fit if your head is any larger than that. All in all I'm very happy with the product and have ordered another in navy. :)
