They are comfortable, however, throughout the day, they seem to stretch out and become very baggy. By the end of the day, they are at least one size larger.

I bought the black shorts first and loved them so much I ordered two others. The black pair is a different fabric than the other two pair. The label says 100% cotton but feels more like linen. They are not stretchy cotton and the label recommends dry cleaning. I wasn't about to dry clean shorts. I washed them cold and low dry and they came out fine. If you are really particular you migjt want to touch up with an iron but I didn't find it necessary.
I also bought the black flower and tye dye pair. They are poly and spandex and soft and stretchy as an old t shirt. Very well made and comfy. I plan to order a few more pair.
To help others with fit I will admit I am 5'4" and weigh 170. (Thank you covid weight gain!) I bought X-LARGE and they hang in soft gathers, not at all tight anywhere. The length is around mid thigh, but I have short legs.

During this covid19 pandemic I've gained some weight.. havent we all! I went from a loose size 6 to a size 8. No biggie..I ended up buying a large in these shorts. They actually look pretty nice with my white untanned legs lol! Long enough to cover up the gooky cellulite stuff. They are loose fitting/roomy in thighs, somewhat fitted in waist, meh. I'm almost 5'7 148lbs. Considering buying additional colors with some sunless tanning lotion!
