Robin F: Usually wear a 4, but they only had a 6. Since I’d read they can run small, I sized-up and tried them. They were way too big in hips. Fabric is nice and love the length. Will try my usual size when restocked.

Cindy F: These Size 8 shorts (my usual size) fitted perfectly when they arrived, but on first wearing the fabric "eased" and stretched out to the point that I could have ordered a smaller size. I put them through a hot wash and hot dryer but that made no difference, no shrinkage. I now have to wear a belt to keep them up. The quality is good, not too heavy a cotton (although heavier than the nylon or polyester-mix I'm used to). Anyway, I did order a Size 6 which were slightly tight on arrival, but the fabric has again eased and now they fit perfectly.

Arianna Cristaldi: La stoffa e le cuciture sono buoni, soprattutto per il prezzo.
Il modello non è esattamente come in foto o come descritto, non è per nulla aderente sulle gambe e sembra un pantaloncino da safari, la gamba è dritta e quindi non avvolge la coscia lasciando molta stoffa nella parte in prossimità del ginocchio. Inoltre mi sembra un po' più corto rispetto alla foto.
La taglia mi è parsa un po' abbondante, spesso delle taglie 50 mi sono strette sulla pancia o mi vanno bene, mentre questa ha diversi centimetri in più.

Amazon Customer: Nice shorts but obviously incapable of shipping the right size! I have ordered a size 18, 3 times now and got 2 size 16 and 1 size 14!

They seem great shorts, the size 16 although to tight around the waist to be really comfortable fit well everywhere else, big pockets which is great!

Just a shame the orders department of Amazon is royally messing up.

CP08CP08: BEWARE OF NEW SIZING! I bought three pair (white, black, and navy blue) SIZE 6 a couple of years ago. They all fit great! I recently purchased another pair of white ones in a size 6 and they were WAY too small. I couldn’t even button them. And no, I have not gained weight. My size 6’s still fit me perfectly. I have sent the new size 6’s back and ordered a size 8 - still too small. I sent the size 8’s back and ordered a size 10 - I can button them but they are still too tight. I have attached a pic of my size 6’s underneath the new size 10’s so you can see how much smaller the size 10’s are. I will have to return them and try either a size 12 or 14. I am 5’5” and weigh 135.

Lucy Thompson: Pros: fit is great. I have a slim waist and wide hips (5’2”, 120lbs), but didn’t find this to be too loose or too tight. They come down to the knee. The material feels nice and breathes well.
Cons: I was expecting more of a burgundy color based on the picture but received something much darker like eggplant. Still a cute color, but not what I wanted, so keep that in mind. Only other thing is that the pockets flair out a bit and can make your hips look wider. But neither of these issues were enough to make me return it; in fact, I’m thinking of getting another pair from this line.

MlM: I was so surprised by the good quality of these Amazon Essential shorts. They are very reasonably priced, I think I paid about $20 and for that they seem to be well made. I got a size 6, and I have some curves. They fit me well in all the right places and are very comfortable. I also like the look, they are simple but stylish with 2 side pockets and a nice, non elasticated waist wth a button and zip. I will buy these again!

Too many hobbies: Ok, shopping for clothes is a chore, sometimes a pleasant chore but still a chore. But clothes shopping with my teenage daughters for their clothes is the equivalent of sitting through a reoccurring root canal. You start out fresh and optimistic, and you end the outing dejected, in mental and emotional pain. Hard to find the right size, color, and style that you're looking for. The endless suggestions, the weird looks on their faces, and countless hours waiting outside dressing rooms.

*queue the heavenly orchestra*

Thank you Amazon Clothing. The shorts fit and are durable. I can let my daughters leave the house dressed chic enough for their taste and modest enough for a father's sensibilities. I'll be back each season for the staples (jeans, shirts, blouse, sweaters, shorts) and hopefully will limit my local clothes shopping to a single excursion instead of the quarterly marathon of pain.
