SF: Beaytiful product, went together easily, UNTIL, ...to attach the top you screw in 4 screws into blocks, one side was great, the other side the block was way off.... I had to learn how to use a drill and drill my own holes to attach it. For $71 you would think they could line it up properly. Aside from that, beautiful product

DewayneDewayne: If I could give more than 5 stars I would. My husband said this was the easiest table he has ever put together. The fact that it is collapsible is even better for transporting it in a move for example. This is a gift for my dad but I know he is going to enjoy it as well as we did putting it together.

green guy: I'm making the effort to write a more thorough review of this item because with relatively small modifications this cart could be excellent. Having read dozens of critical reviews of this cart, I was very doubtful in ordering, but with considerable experience in making furniture I thought that I could "fix" all of the problems that other reviewers experienced, in part because I was not interested in folding this cart.
The shipping package was adequate and there was no damage; all the wood parts and hardware were included; the wood is attractive and light color (but would benefit from an additional clear coat) with no damage to the wood pieces; there was no meaningful misalignment of holes and parts. The design weakness of jittering and shelves disconnecting when the cart was moved still exists, but perhaps not to the degree older reviewers described. After the recommended assembly, on testing stability by moving it around on a tile and hardwood floor, the shelves occasionally misaligned and even occasionally disconnected. Because I did not intend to fold the cart, I easily corrected these problems by attaching both shelves to the gables with 8 brass screws. (I had forgotten how...

Amazon Customer: Sturdy enough to handle the wiggles of a printer going full tilt and stores a case of paper on the shelf. I'm very pleased with it.

LadyNighthawke: The colour and texture of the wood is lovely but the cart is not sturdy at all. The shelves do not stay in their slots, so the sides separate and become too wide. Will need to tie strings around the bottom to keep the shelves from falling off and the cart from coming apart.

misskay: I do love this little cart. I use it for a bedside table for my computer and books. But I move it a lot, getting in and out of bed, moving it close to the bed then farther away. What I have discovered is if I move it pulling from the top 1/3 of the cart, it shifts somewhat, and if done at a drastic angle, I have had the moveable shelf fall off its metal holders. So the best place to move it is below the shelf, as that part of the cart is far more stable.
It might help if a 'peg and slot' were made so that the top shelf could lie 'attached' on the sides. But as it is, the top shelf simply sits free on the sides, rendering it very unstable with much movement. I also am moving it over carpet.
I think some brace or even a bungee cord can remedy some of this. But overall, the dimensions, the rollers, the nice wood quality and color all work for my needs. And I am pleased with it....just wish a little more work would go into the design to make it more stable. Wouldn't take much.

Follow up: Yes tying a bungee cord, attached to each side right above the moveable shelf, works perfectly to keep it stable, keeping if from shifting. I don't think most people will be bothered by...

Anne: Pretty easy to put together but maybe I did something wrong because it's a little unsteady. Luckily it doesn't have to move around. It looks nice, like furniture and not like an office piece.

I did not get paid or receive anything for my review of this product. I personally paid for this item and purchased it from Amazon.ca.

The Winsome mission cart is all natural wood and it takes less than ten minutes to assemble. Its basically 3/4 's already put together and all you do is add the centre shelf ( it just sits on metal supports ) and the top. The top is attached with 4 screws and the construction is solid once the two shelfs are in place. It's not high enough to be an appliance stand ( eg; Microwave ) but it's just the perfect size for those smaller specific items that compliment your kitchen. You can use it with or with out the casters and it's positively worth the asking price.

I recommend this quality natural wood product to all. I hope you enjoyed my review and it was helpful.

Michelle: This is perfect for my needs as an artist; it holds all my materials nicely while being able to wheel it anywhere around my easel. It also matches the folding bookshelves I have that are in the same style and colour. Regarding assembly, some reviewers have said that the holes don't line up when screwing the top on. I thought the same when I put the top in place and lined up the holes (the two on the left were off). So I went ahead anyway and put in the two screws on the right first, tightened them, and miraculously the two holes on the left naturally aligned themselves. Weird. I was able to get the screws in no problem (and without having to drill extra holes). I would recommend this cart.
