Janna: I bought this for my dog when he was a puppy to help potty train him since I lived in an apartment and couldn't always get him outside fast enough when he wanted to go. It helped him learn to pee on grass only. It is fairly easy to clean and a good size. He is a pomsky and was around 15 pounds when he used this.

Jen: So, I read a lot if the critique on here about this fake grass patch, and it's definitely not absorbent and I can see how that would lead to it being really stinky. It's also fake grass, so it doesn't smell like outdoors, and your dog knows that, but what I like to do is scatter wood pellet cat litter under the grass in the plastic tray that catches the pee, and it helps on all fronts fantastically. It doesn't smell bad, it helps absorb a lot, and it smells more like the outdoors but looks and feels like grass instead of wood pellets. The clean up is a pain, but definitely works better at potty training!

boo: My puppy only had this for about 8 hours and already all the grass is coming off. Alot of money for so little use.
