Empowered2023Empowered2023: Moved from Washington State to Texas October 2023. Mounted this on top of my 2022 Kia Telluride for extra space for those pesky little items that didn't fit in the car or the U-Haul trailer. It held up great through all kinds of weather, never shifted on the hood of my car, and everything was perfectly intact when we arrived in Texas. I actually sent this home with my son back to Washington who will use it on his 2019 Ford Ranger when he goes on camping trips, hunting, and fishing excursions. Would absolutely recommend this product to anybody! Well worth the money, high quality!

Mary: We drove 14 hours straight to our destination. When we arrived we noticed that the stitches on one of the "secure" straps was just about off of the bag. On the way back home. We had to secure that section another way.

M. Breton: I bought this bag over all others for 4 reasons.
1. It was one of the largest.
2. It had the longest overlapping flaps at the zippers.
3. The straps that secure it to the roof are not sewn to the bag so I wont tear a seam if I over tighten them.
4. It has a lighter color so the contents might stay cooler.

The downside to buying a bag that is too big is when you cinch it down small it makes folds that pools water. I checked it at gas stops and drained it. In the future I will load the bag more towards the front to prevent it.
After reading reviews of many bags out there I wrapped all my luggage in large trash bags just in case it leaked. The bag went through, 1,500 miles, multiple downpours on the highway as well as being left out overnight. When I arrived home the interior of the bag was dry.

Pack the bag correctly, tighten it so nothing is flapping, and it should last you a long time.

And a added bonus, if you want to make replacement cross straps, you could. The main cross straps are fed through a sleeve and can be replaceable if damaged or you want to mod them.
