AndyG: I had to babysit my niece at the weekend so it was the prefect time to dig out the Wii & test this Wii remote from Zakgbxbig.
I'm happy to report it all worked a treat & kept her occupied for hours!
I did try to use a zapper for a shooting game & it was a tiny bit tighter to get it in & out the gun than the standard Wii remote but it did fit it was just a little snug, we played multiple different games over 4hours & all worked as it should the whole time.
It's great that it has the Wii motion built into it as some games wont work unless you have a motion controller so that was a bonus too.
I don't know if it was as accurate as a standard Wii remote would be but it wasn't bad enough to be noticeable to me or ruin the gaming experience, so definitely works good as a replacement as i doubt you can even buy them new from Nintendo anymore & at time of writing CEX are selling the genuine Nintendo Wii remote with motion plus second hand for £28, that's just for remote & no nunchuck so it actually works out a lot cheaper getting this one which has the motion plus built in but you also get the nunchuck controller & silicone sleeve all for £16...
